QUMAX Xarmor U9Plus Black Wired Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with USB Hub and Audio Jack

Pros: I had searched for a long while for a mechanical keyboard to replace my keyboard at work. Having made the switch to a mechanical keyboard I will NEVER go back to a rubber dome style.

IMPORTANT is the Cherry switch type, I researched this extensively and determined I wanted the Cherry MX Blue switches. After using this keyboard for the past couple days at work I LOVE the Blue switches. They really ARE NOT that loud so long as you don't press the key down all the way. These keys provide the nice little click when depressed half way, as intended. Personal preference of course.

It arrived in perfect condition and was packaged well. The cable is nice and thick and I LOVE the extra USB 2.0 ports on it. Don't be confused, this keyboard is not fully backlit. Only the function indicators in the top RH corner are backlit.

Cons: Skin oil and other marks stay on the soft touch paint wrist pad. Ahh well I say, at least it looks like it's being used.

Pros: Heavy, excellent quality.
Nice looking, has a great appearance.
No doubt about it, this improves your typing speed and accuracy. I've only had it out the box for an hour and I can already see a difference. I changed over to a mechanical blue because I type very fast and I notice the limitations of a regular keyboard. This is definitely an improvement.

Cons: The noise. It's definitely a louder keyboard. I knew that already and its not a problem to me. I do share an office with somebody and I am sure it will be a problem for them. It's pretty loud.

Also, whereas the keyboard looks awesome, the texture of the hand rest shows oils and smudges more than i would prefer. After an hour of working on it, you can already see the marks from where my hands rest. I'm sure that won't improve over time.

Other Thoughts: A few cons, some great pros. I can't speak to the reliability of it just yet (just got it) but I'm happy with the purchase overall. I wanted a keyboard that will be more responsive to fast typing and that's exactly what I got. Definitely built for speed.

Pros: I original bought the Razer Blackwidow for Best Buy but I hated how the keys. They felt really close together so I returned it and came to newegg to save the day. This is an awesome Keyboard especially for SC2. I've been really looking for a mechanical keyboard that will have a standard layout and doesn't have all the macro keys all over the place. Also, Love the wrist pad.

Cons: Of course with my luck. When the keyboard came in the space bar was hanging off but I manage to fix it and put it back in place. Another disappointment I had was I thought this was a backlit keyboard because the product picture shows "Backlit Mechanical Keyboard powered by Ione" on the bottom right hand side. It also says that too on the keyboard that recieved but only the Number lock, Caps lock and scroll lock actually has a backlight. I'm usually really happy with my newegg products but this time i'm pretty disappointed so -1 egg for that issue and another -1 for iOne on the spacebar issue.

Other Thoughts: I wish I would have know that this didn't have a backlight on all the keys or else I would have waited until the Mionix Zibal was available. I wonder if newegg will let me get store credit or let me return this. Well looks like more research I got do.
