It has a thin layer of brushed aluminum around the keys. So don't worry about the keyboard cover being plastic. Cord is solid, flexible and the USB is well built WELL BUILT, very solid and sturdy, not a light keyboard Small, defiantly a slim keyboard Cons: Cord is somewhat short. Key feel ok, they are a bit harder to press but that is the break-in period Kind of noisy keys, more of a plastic 'clink' sound even though the key backing is rubber Top Windows buttons get stuck sometimes...poor quality? Other Thoughts: Certainly not a quiet keyboard, so if noise is a concern, probably not your best buy. I love gaming with this keyboard now. The keys are not the big style of keys but more like the standard laptop keys. Keyboard is quick response and just what I need. Buy it! Did you find this review helpful?
