1 out of 5 eggsBad 'Shift' key

Pros: Cheap

Cons: The left Shift key gets stuck when pressed. I encountered this issue when I received the keyboard and tried to rectify it by opening the keyboard and adjusting the key a bit. Later, Newegg gave me a replacement and now the replacement has the same problem after a few days of use. Stay away from this keyboard and buy something else. Lots of keyboards are in this price bracket.

Other Thoughts: They don't mention it but this is not a mechanical keyboard, in spite of being from Cherry. I knew it since the price is just too low for a mechanical keyboard, but I am mentioning this in case anyone is curious.

4 out of 5 eggsNice for what it is

Pros: 1- Cheap
2- Nice Key Action
3- Ink used to print on keys is highly reflective
--- It's not glossy or anything like that, but It's easy to see in low light conditions
4- Standard Key Layout

Cons: 1-Body is a bit Flimsy
2-Doesn't Sit Completely Level with Tilt Legs Are in Use.

Other Thoughts: This is a great keyboard in the cheapo range, despite it's flimsiness.

5 out of 5 eggsprobably the best keyboard I have ever owned.

Pros: Unbelievable price. This is worth way more than 12 bucks. They keystrokes are crisp, deliberate, and surprisingly silent. Tactile feedback is excellent. This keyboard lets me type as fast as I can with no ghosting or lag AT ALL... This thing has proven better for gaming than the $70 Razer I just threw in the trash. I will never get anything BUT a cherry keyboard from this point on.

Cons: Kinda hoped there WOULD be a Cherry logo on the keyboard. Not a big deal though.

Other Thoughts: Its a no frills, solid, mechanical keyboard. I don't know why people are shy of ps2 connections, as they are better in every way. If you want a fancy USB board with a horrible rubber membrane and all kinda of programmable keys (that you will never use), then go ahead. I'll be clacking away happily on this lil beauty.

2 out of 5 eggsVery light weight

Pros: The keys seem better then the keytronic I had before, which is now in the trash.

Cons: Looks and feels cheap, very light weight. Made in China. I don't think people know what the good IBM and Dell keyboards were like anymore. This is not 5 stars.

Other Thoughts: I wanted a PS2 keyboard, but next time I'll just buy a USB keyboard. I can find them anywhere.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Keyboard

Pros: • Key action relatively smooth and crisp.

• Doesn't slide when fold-down feet aren't being used.

• No goofy "Cherry" logo anywhere (despite its being pictured).

Cons: • Keys a little noisy; a typical plastic-y keyboard sound.

• Slides when fold-down feet used (I don't use them).

Other Thoughts: • The keyboard arrived slightly warped such that not all four corners would touch the desktop simultaneously. This was resolved by gently twisting the keyboard (like an ice tray) until it was 'true'.

• Downward slant is roughly 5°.

• Downward slant is roughly 15° using drop-down feet.

• Drop-down feet extend height 15mm.

• Function keys are 33% shorter than standard keys.

5 out of 5 eggsSturdy and Cheap

Pros: Really nice feel to the keys. Cherry keyboards are usually pretty expensive. Quality keyboard at a good price.

Cons: PS/2 and Wired

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Nice basic keyboard for those who don't want all the extra media keys. PS/2 means you save a USB port. Keys feel responsive without being too loud.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Mine doesn't have the Cherry logo on the top of the keyboard as shown in the photo, it's just plain black.

5 out of 5 eggsno frills, great price

Pros: Great, simple keyboard. Love the feel, and the only way to get something decent for cheaper is to get lucky at a thrift store.

Cons: No palm rest or volume buttons, I guess... but they would cost extra.

Other Thoughts: For some reason, the Num Lock light wants to stay on even while the desktop is shut down, and it's pretty bright... not sure if that's the motherboard's fault or the keyboard's.

5 out of 5 eggs<3 PS/2

Pros: Haven't had a keyboard this nice in years. Seems like every manufacturer wants to make theirs as flimsy as possible. Thankfully this is cheaper than most of those and better.

Cons: Got shipped to me in a box 10x the size required. Maybe it they just sent the thing in a bubble mailer instead they could save on shipping.

Other Thoughts: Hard to find a standard wired PS/2 keyboard anymore. All stores want to sell are the $100 mega wireless internet multimedia combo boards. No thanks.

5 out of 5 eggsBusiness grade keyboard

Pros: Just an excellent "no-frills" keyboard. After more than a year of heavy (and dirty) use it still performs like new.

Printing on keys looks like new still!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I'm now retired but during my career Cherry was about the only keyboard I'd use.
