5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful.

Pros: Bought this to replace a nearly identical one. It didn't break down on its own, that was entirely my fault. These things are built like tanks.

Cons: None for me, I suppose some people could be turned off by the loudness but I don't mind it at all.

Other Thoughts: Heavy enough to maim someone.

5 out of 5 eggsKeyboard Perfection...

Pros: MX Blue switches are not for everybody, but if you want the BEST possible feel in a keyboard this is it.
It has a large base with nicely spaced apart function keys.
I use this keyboard at work and what a difference.
The "click" of the MX Blue switches is barely audible, but as with almost all keyboards the bottoming out of the key is what makes the most noise.
Key feel is GREAT!

Cons: Warning, It will make any other keyboard without similar mechanical switches seem inferior.

Other Thoughts: Now I am looking to replace all my other keyboards...

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very easy action on the keys, my older but decent-feeling (non-mechanical) Logitech keyboards have a much stiffer tactile bump that I didn't think was stiff until I got used to typing on the Cherry. Click isn't too loud IMO, but since I live alone I'm not sure about it annoying others or not.

Cons: Not inexpensive.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat/useless keyboard

Pros: Great key feel, and the keyboard sits at a good height

Cons: "Enter" key on the keypad broke after three months or so. That shouldn't happen, and renders the keyboard unsuitable if you have much data entry to accomplish.

5 out of 5 eggsRevising Previous Review

Pros: I just had to update my previous review. No, I haven't yet gotten my offices, but you'll note that I've updated my review from a 4 to a 5. It got a 4 previously for not having any sort of reference on the "J" and "F" keys, but silly me, it just took me a little bit to find it.

Turns out the "J" and "F" keys have more curvature, a deeper "concaveness" if you will, than every other key. Now that I know this, I'm good.

Go Cherry!

Cons: NONE

4 out of 5 eggsClimbing the corporate ladder

Pros: Perfect keyboard. I'm in a cubicle style environment and I'm deserving of an office. With this keyboard, they are going to shove me into an office within days. No one can stand the sound of this thing nor the grin on my face. Upper management, here I come. I actually bought two of these since I have two cubicles in two different cities. I'm expecting two offices within the week.

Success 101: If you can't earn your way into an office .... annoy your way into an office.

Other pros include a color, shape, and and layout so simple, so monochrome, it's got a cool "Retro" look. And I like the audible feedback from the cherry-mx keys, I've only been using this thing for 2 or 3 hours now but I get the sense that I'm more aware of what I've hit and not hit and I appear to be typing better. This could just be one of my "on" days with regards to typos, but I do believe the keyboard is helping (and of course, I just typo'd "keybaord" 3 times while typing out that sentence).

Cons: No reference marks on the "J" and "F" keys ... really? This thing cost just short of a C-note, has absolutely no frills ... no extra LEDs, no raised fonts, it's not wireless, it doesn't roll up - nothing. The least they could have given me was index references on the "J" and "F" keys. This is why this keyboard gets only 4 stars.

However, they'll be forced to up my salary once I get my two offices, and then I can pay someone to put little nubs on my "J" and "F" keys.

Other Thoughts: I'll be CEO in no time.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Keyboard on the Planet

Pros: For anyone typing code, there is no better keyboard on the planet.

Cons: I wish this keyboard was offered without labels.
This is the exact keyboard Das Keyboard used in their previous generation of keyboard without any labels. I purchased my first Das Keyboard without labels about 8 years ago. It took me two weeks to train myself to stop looking down at the keyboard for a label. Once I trained myself to stop looking down, my typing speed increased by 30-40% over the next few months.

4 out of 5 eggsReminds me of my old IBM keyboard

Pros: -Great Feel For Typing, feels fast and responsive
-Basic, no media keys, just a keyboard
-Click but not overally loud, compared to old IBM keyboards

Cons: -No "nub" on the two home row keys where your pointer fingures sit. Use to it with most keyboards I use, though really I'm living without it just fine.

Other Thoughts: Great keyboard if your looking for something basic and great for typing more than anything. Reminds me of my old huge IBM I use to have, except even better when it comes to typing.
