5 out of 5 eggsAwesome, Cheap Gaming Keyboard

Pros: Looks good, feels nice, not cheaply built, has nice weight to it (not flimsy). WASD keys and arrows colored blue for gaming.

Cons: had some type of oil on the keyboard after unwrapping. Wiped off easily... but still kind of gross.

Other Thoughts: Buy it!!!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard for the Price

Pros: Looks good, feels good.
Doesn't make much noise typing like some keyboards.
Feels very sturdy and not flimsy at all(no flexing or creaking).
Matte finish doesn't blind you with overhead lights.

Cons: Cord is a 'little' short. It's basically made to go from computer to desk and no farther.

This is a personal thing... but the backspace is the size of a normal key, instead of the size of the shift key that I'm used to on most other keyboards. Not sure why they designed it in this way but it throws me off every time when I need to hit the key.

Other Thoughts: Circuit board has a plastic sheet covering it with drain holes so if you dump liquid into it, it drops into the holes and out the bottom of the keyboard... which is nice.

Num, Caps, Scroll are just an LED light and not visible at night... unless you know which is which from using a keyboard for years. Not all keyboards illuminate the symbol, but just something that I noticed.

2 out of 5 eggsYou Get What You Pay For

Pros: It was cheap, once you factor in the rebate. Looks better than a bog-standard keyboard. Built for drop resistance, which I guess is a pro (the box comically refers to this as "extra chassis design"). I've never dropped a keyboard, especially not a wired one, so I don't see how this is a big selling point.

Cons: My first sign should have been opening the box. The retail box tears when you open it. But, you throw that away anyway, so no bigs, right? Upon opening it, I saw that it was wet (inside of the plastic bag it was wrapped in). My first thought was that it had gotten wet during shipment, but none of the other stuff that shipped with it was wet. When I got closer I noted that the stuff was actually oil. I don't know what it is or what its function was, but all I know is that I had to spend a few minutes cleaning it to make it look presentable for my customer. Fortunately it still worked, so I'm presuming this is something meant to lubricate the membranes or a leaky machine at the factory.

Once I got it hooked up, I realized that I would never buy one of these for myself. The key feel is horribly mushy, and I'm not saying that as one of those mechanical-only zealots that bash any membrane keyboard. I'm used to using membrane keyboards, and they usually work just fine for gaming. This is is not something I'd trust my game to. I may end up just using this one around the shop and buying a better board to sell to my customer.

Other Thoughts: My advice: spend a few bucks extra and get a Logitech. You might not be able to afford one of their gaming line, but even one of their mainstream boards will be better for gaming than this so-called gaming keyboard.

Also look for the hilarious "matt black" typo on the back of the box.

3 out of 5 eggsNot worth 30 bucks

Pros: Nice feel low profile keys are soft and I like the matte black finish.

Cons: I have purchased dozens of keyboards better quality for 20 dollars or less. It more fits the 19.99 budget boards and does not feel like it will last and the keys are low quality stickers and will wear fast

Other Thoughts: Honestly I wanted something different and got it but for 30 dollars your better off getting a 20 dollar logitech board. You nerds thinking this is a gamer board for 30 bucks are high.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Very light keyboard. Super easy to type with and the keys have a soft, quiet, muffled sound. The design and the feel is great; the matt black looks really nice. I absolutely love this keyboard already!

Cons: It's a really nice keyboard, I only wish there were media buttons/functions on it. The backspace is pretty small but I am already used to it. Those two 'cons' are really no big deal thought. The board is cheap/affordable and works great.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Keyboard on a Budget!

Pros: 1. Comfortable, especially with my bear claw hands.
2. Matte finish is quite nice. Glossy keyboards tend to collect alot of dust, I don't see this causing an issues with this one.
3. Small travel for key actuation - does not require alot of force to press keys.
4. VERY VERY quiet, for those games whom need a minimalist gaming keyboard and quiet. Mechanicals were keeping my girlfriend up at night whom sleeps in the same room.
5. Waterproof...you have no idea how many gaming sessions with adult beverages have gone to hell when you start to spill!!!

Cons: 1. Lack of Extra Keys..does not really apply to gamers whom play mmos (i.e. WoW)..I think wow can be played without the flashy lights and macro keys, but not all agree with this.
2. Wishing the stand legs were a bit taller.
3. Rubber keys may feel a little squishy, but actually have quite a good reaction when you depress a key.
4. Backspace key..no need for them to redesign the enter key, wish it had a larger backspace key. Constantly hitting the forward slash key next to it, but I am sure I will get used to it in time.
5. Although keyboard is 900g, it tends to slide around my table alot. Put a wrist rest behind it just to hold it in place.

Other Thoughts: Great gaming keyboard on a budget. This is a hold me over until Christmas until I can get another keyboard, but who knows..might just stick with this one. Very quiet, and great function for those whom don't need the over the top keyboard with multitudes of macro keys and similar. Would recommend for those who want something quiet, minimal, basic, a hold-me-over keyboard, and doesn't mind going without mechanical keys

5 out of 5 eggsSeriously, why all the bad reviews?

Pros: 1. Low-profile keys. Quicker to press and feel great.
2. Matte finish is not only more comfortable, but also more resistant to scratches, and also easier to clean.
3. No volume knob like my last GIGABYTE keyboard.

Cons: 1. Cost.
2. Misleading advertising. There is no glowing LED bar as shown on the box, but I already knew that... :[
3. Small back key? Most keyboards today are like this, so why be the one to complain?

Other Thoughts: UNLESS you have horrible vision or use your computer without a chair, then you WILL see all the keys fine, when raised.

Also, the guy below clearly doesn't know what he's talking about!

1 out of 5 eggsNOT AS EXPECTED NFG

Pros: This keyboard has a lousy feel to it, extremely cheap feeling, not responsive at all. I bought a ten dollar Logitech keyboard at Wallyworld that is better in every way.
Also, the backspace key is tiny - not a full size key -and that stinks.
The wristpad area is tapered goofy in both directions are gives no ZERO wrist support.
Very sorry I bought this, but I should have known by the name Gigabyte, most all of their products stink anyhow.

Cons: NONE, ZERO, NADA, ARE YOU KIDDING...CHEAP JUNK.
