3 out of 5 eggsExcellent product / HORRIBLE QUALITY

Pros: Awesome keyboard, real switches that don't feel like chewing gum, volume/backlight controls are awesome and press-to-mute (or off) just like a mouse roller. Pass-thrus all are great to have.

Cons: YOU WILL NEVER WANT TO GO BACK TO A MEMBRANE KEYBOARD AND WILL WANT TO CARRY A CHERRY SWITCH MODEL WITH YOU EVERYWHERE. This is important if/when this thing bricks itself.

You can NEVER shut off the stupid pulsing (distracting!) billboard thing where it says "Aivia", it only changes colors to even more annoying ones than blue.

First one started throwing multiple keystrokes for various keys like "a" and then eventually several other commonly used ones as well. Swapped with a friend who ordered identical keyboard from NewEgg at the same time, and that one worked perfectly for both of us, and SOMEHOW mine worked perfectly on his computer (he's still using it, just fine - and we type approximately the same amount). Now a few months later, the "-" key started double or triple reporting (used a ton in Unix for commands)... and then it just completely quit working other than the pulsing stupid advertisement billboard (macro set select button/badge) and the USB3.0 passthrough port.

I propose the firmware (in the keyboard) just really sucks and/or hates whatever my motherboard does on USB. However I also have had no issues with any other various USB devices on this same setup so...

Other Thoughts: Will never buy another Gigabyte anything, except maybe motherboard if they haven't gone way downhill too.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard

Pros: Keys feel great.
Adjustable back lighting can go very dim or very bright.
The connectivity options are fantastic.
The price was awesome.

Cons: After researching for a bit I had thought brown switches would be quiet as they don't have extra click noise feedback like the blue switches do, however this still makes a bit of a ruckus when typing.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat Newegg Service! Nice board, but...

Pros: Dimmable backlighting, scroll wheels. build feel, mechanical keys great for typing, I'm spoiled!

Cons: Failed in a few months, " - " key began muting volume, back lights developed mind of their own, number keys typed at will! -

Other Thoughts: Gigabyte has sent an RMA, however I have to pay postage to Gigabyte, quite expensive! Newegg was kind enough to help, thank you Newegg! Next time, no more Gigabyte, poor RMA process.

1 out of 5 eggsNot a keyboard, a "winkeyboard"

Pros: Cherry MX (Brown) switches, adjustable backlighting, USB *3* and audio jack extension, extra macro keys all would seem to make this a near-ideal keyboard.

Cons: Alas, while the Cherry MX keys & cable extensions are nice, the macro keys not only utterly depending on Windows drivers, not having have them means any stray keypress can lock up non-Windows system HARD. Even the backlight button! While diagnosing this I had feared it had taken out USB ports I'd plugged it into on my motherboard - also made by Gigabyte (GA-890XA-UD3). It took complete rebooting to get thing right. It messed things up on that low of a level.

Other Thoughts: Yes, I know the description says "Operating System: Windows" but it doesn't go into detail about that. Other keyboards have the same claim but all that means is that I have a few extra keys that do nothing. Doing nothing is the right fail-safe. Causing a hard lockup is a fail-UNsafe. That the button for the backlight did this just boggles me. It's really an insanely broken design. Naturally this abomination was returned as soon as I figured out it couldn't be made to work right.

1 out of 5 eggsGigabyte Sucks

Pros: None

Cons: I have had 2 of these. The first one failed in about 3 weeks. Newegg replaced it for me. the second just failed at the 31 day mark, I am forced to deal with Gigabyte for warranty. Their policy is that I need to ship it to the repair depot and wait to have it shipped back to me. The macro controller fails and just starts spamming keystrokes.

Other Thoughts: This is the last Gigabyte product I will ever buy. Their quality is low and the warranty sucks.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: - awesome feel
- back lit
- usb ports

Cons: The keyboard often disconnects. The aivia light stays on, however, the back lighting for the keys stops functioning and no keystrokes are recognized. This can be fixed temporarily by disconnecting and reconnecting the device, until it happens again next time.

Other Thoughts: I'd give this keyboard a 5-egg rating if there was no disconnecting issues.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This is by far the best keyboard I have ever owned. The quality is amazing, especially the super beefy non-detachable cable, I don't think it will ever break. the scroll wheels for backlight and volume levels is pretty convenient, And the USB 3.0 and 2.0 pass through is very nice.

Cons: None really. I guess the macro keys could be in a more convenient position. also it only has white backlight.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it!

Pros: I love this keyboard. I enjoy the feel of the mechanical keys (seriously, I hate membrane keyboards now). The anti-ghosting works. I don't really use the programmable keys, so I can't comment on those. I like that that the back-lighting has adjustable brightness (as well as you can turn it off completely), and I find the volume wheel and fn keys useful, too.

Cons: I can't think of any, other than price, but it seems that all good quality mechanical keyboards are pricey.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: Love this keyboard! Keys are great, browns and the LED back light keys is a huge bonus for night time gaming! You can turn off the LED back lighting by clicking on the brightness wheel. Heavy keyboard and keys are not to noisy like the Cherry blues are. Force to accurate the keys is perfect for how I type. Cable is thick and heavy duty.

Cons: Can't turn off the back light Aivia logo... Some may want more Macro keys as there are only 5 but I don't use them anyway.
