2 out of 5 eggsI didn't like it

Pros: It's a wireless keyboard, and it claims to be waterproof (I have not tested, so I can't say yes or no on that).

Cons: Keys are too stiff, and the layout of the keys seemed odd to me. No middle wheel, so the mouse is useless for many graphical types of software.

Other Thoughts: Our IT person bought a set of these for me from Newegg, and the mouse turned out to be useless for almost all of the applications I use, due to the lack of a center wheel; I didn't like the shape of the mouse either. The touch strip on the mouse will work for scrolling but that's about it. The keys are too stiff and I often miss characters due to that. This might be a good purchase for someone who is going to have the keyboard around a lot of water, but I would not recommend it for an office environment. At first I didn't mind, because I figured I would get used to it, but the more I use it the more I dislike it.

1 out of 5 eggsDefective Product, awful newegg support

Pros: I like the weight of the keyboard and mouse?

Cons: Why do I have to pay 12 dollars to ship this thing back when I was sent a dud? Newegg? Awful customer support. Most companies that sell an item will send a new item and I put the defective one in a box and turn it around prepaid. Not newegg, 20,000 dollars in purchases this year, one return, and I still get stuck with the tab. FAIL.

Other Thoughts: I used to love newegg, but lately they keep increasing product prices while the product is in my shopping cart without a notification, send defective items and refuse to stand behind what they sell me. In many years I've had two problems. One newegg customer support lied saying that an item tracked when the shipper never scanned the item at all. The other is this, and they tell me to use their label to send this thing back and want me to pay 12 bucks to return an 80 dollar item?

Not only that I need this item tuesday, so I'm stuck because they want the item in their hands before they will send me a replacement, so now I'm stuck going over to that other big online retailer and ordering a new unit overnight so I'm not in a bind. This turns an exchange into a return.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: new egg getting my order here fast like they do.wireless is fast. i hooked the unit to my system to show my wife i could play bf2 bc on line with this one. she just remembers my taking back a wireless unit a couple of years ago. i like it and my 3 year old will be using this one seeing how it is water proof and a bit tougher than most.

Cons: price was a bit high but not to bad for both mouse and keyboard together and spill/crumb proof.

3 out of 5 eggsKeys popped off in shipment

Pros: Dishwasher Safe

Cons: 18 keys were off when I received the keyboard. If they popped off from shipping, not sure if I want to stick it in my dishwasher. The keys just pop back on, but do I want to hunt them down in the dishwasher every time it is washed? NOPE!

4 out of 5 eggsImpressive

Pros: If you go to many lan parties like I do, you know how many of the energy drinks, chips, and greasy stuff goes all over the place. It all gets down in your keyboard and mouse cracks and what not too. Well, no longer. 1 cycle in the dishwasher and it's all gone. So I say, not bad, not bad.

Some other pro's is the laptop styel keys. I like these because the keystroke is significantly less allowing faster typing (wpm rose from 80-85 -> 90-98). Also, some games require double tapping, which makes notebook style keyboards a real must to take the advantage.

Wireless works great, no lagging or spitting corrupted information etc. and works through my solid oak desk and from 5 ft away.

Same usb port.

Cons: Cost per value, not too much of a factor, however I think 60 dollars would be a more marketable price for this value.

Mouse has no scrolling wheel, however I didn't mark down because of this. The mouse actually has a finger sensitive strip to allow scrolling. The strip is rather, erm, overly sensitive. The technology is neato and all but still requires some work.

Mouse has no third button, sucks for gamming.

Wireless usb plugin literally kept falling appart.. goodthing there wasn't any mosfet transistors or anyting inside of it.. hopefully ><. But nothing superglue won't fix :)

Other Thoughts: Overall, worth it for some people. Just do your looking around first. Weigh it out. If you spill a lot or other people spill a lot on your computer stuff and you want to save yourself an early heart attack.. go for it. If not, I'm sure there is another keyboard and mouse out there for you at a better deal. Not to say that this is a bad one, I would say at the very least, "You won't regret it."

4 out of 5 eggsNot Bad

Pros: You cannot even tell that the keyboard and mouse are water proof I thought that the keys would be a bit tough in reality you cannot tell from a regular keyboard.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I see many applications for this unit, Public Safety, Banks, Hospitals essentially anywhere many people share one computer.
