Perfect! And then I notice the etched keytops. Better yet! I wear keytops out through overuse, but etching solves that problem. And then -- and I'm still laughing -- I discover that the damed thing is dishwasher safe! Dishwasher safe? Are they joking? The perfect keyboard ... and I can throw it in my dishwasher, besides. I smile every time I use it. Dishwasher safe. Ha! Cons:* Um...It doesn't contain disco lights? Seriously? It's actually perfect. OK, the touch pad could be a bit larger, but you get used to it. Oh. And no instruction manual. That kinda stinks. But it is, after all, a keyboard. What's to know? Other Thoughts: Wireless connection is amazingly fast. I truly believe that this keyboard is 100% waterproof because I washed it multiple times with soap and water in the dishwasher and sink and it still works great! It also says it is antimicrobial--pretty neat. There are videos online to show the test results of the antimicrobial component that is embedded into the plastic. I have not seen a product like this before on the market. Cons: When I first received my keyboard in the mail, a few of the keys didn't work because it was damaged in the box. I believe it was the way it was shipped. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a brand new keyboard for free. They paid for the shipping and I received the replacement keyboard in less than 2 days. I was impressed that they did not require me to send the original keyboard back or anything. Touchpad is well executed. Buttons and pad work very well. No complaints there. Construction has durable feel. Range is good, with few missed commands, except some repeating keystrokes -- not good. Cons: Weird tactile response. Never felt anything quite like it. Biggest con: keyboard layout choices are also wierd... study the backspace and Pgup/PgDn areas to see if you can live with them. Unit I got had non-working lights so I RMA'd to Newegg. Other Thoughts: This would have been perfect for my kids media center/toddler browsing pc, and I really wanted it to work out. They trash keyboards regularly, and dont care about key layout particularly. Mine was defective, but I elected to refund, not replace. Kind of a marginal product. Using it for a HTPC with no range issues with USB behind the computer. Cons: Keys are stiff. Hoping that they will break in. Also the Home key is in the far right corner beside the backspace key. Out of habit I have hit looking for the backspace key. Other Thoughts: Good product but wish I would have gone with a trackball combo. Did you find this review helpful? Cons: The Touch pad should be by the space bar, and the touch pad is not wide enough to use side scrolling. For a HTPC set up I would say that the keyboard is a little on the bulky side. Other Thoughts: Used this to replace an Adesso keyboard that suffered from a wine incident. It is not nearly as shinny as it looks in the photo, more of a matte, which is good, at least for my taste. 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful. Did you?
