4 out of 5 eggsGood keyboard, very light

Pros: I like the lightweight and slim profile

Cons: The button spacing takes a little while to get used to. Coming from microsoft large keyboards, this one is a little tighter keyed. Still can manage to type 40+ wpm

5 out of 5 eggsNice for the person on the go

Pros: slim form factor makes storage easier when the keyboard is not in use
light weight makes carrying effortless
USB cable length is more than adequate
Polished finish is a nice touch for a keyboard at this price level

Cons: The keys are small
Not sensitive enough

Other Thoughts: A basic and affordable keyboard with everything in the right place, I really like it. The old fashioned, big and heavy keyboards with extra useless functions gotta go. I dont need those big monster or function keys that makes my ketboard big and takes up the entire working space. I just need a keyborad thats light, fully functional and easy to use. And this keyboard gives me exactly what i need. When you've been typing years and years, you often get really frustrated when switch keys around. They switch keys and functions around to try to be new, fashionable, and different. But as a experienced keyboard user, I do not like it. i hate to always have to press the keys here and there trying to figure out how to copy and paste (just for an example). This keyboard is not like that. This keyboard has all the functoins you need, and they are all at the right place.

Besides all the good qualities about the keyboard, the price itself is fairely right. Why would you want to spend over $30 or $40 on some fancy keyboard with fancy functions, which you might not even use?

1 out of 5 eggsnot good.

Pros: Standard layout. Chicklet keys (good if you like those). But read cons...

Cons: a) Wider keys like backspace/shift "stick" when being struck on the sides. Must strike center. b) Other keys rattle when you are typing (they are pretty loose).

a & b make this keyboard totally unusable for me.

Side note, newegg description is correct when they say "USB2" keyboard. Apparently it is ONLY usb2, and will not revert back to USB 1.1.... which means it cannot be used with certain computers and KVM switches which expect keyboards to be 1.1.

There is really no reason for a keyboard to be USB2 anyway, since bus speed is not an issue for keyboards.

Other Thoughts: I also purchased another brand here, at the same time, which I'm typing on now, which is currently about half the price of this one on newegg. It has the same layout and chicklet keys as this one, but doesn't have the cons listed above (SO FAR)... that brand starts with R and has 8 letters.
