5 out of 5 eggsLovely First Look, Still Have More To Discover

Pros: ROCCAT Kone[+]: Compared to my average HP mouse, this things feels great. I love using it and I'm a claw gripper, but I'd guarantee a palm gripper would love it too. Tons of accessible and customizable buttons with the "Easy-Shift" key on the side (24, I believe)! It looks real professional and the lights inside looks very appealing. Not jittery and jumpy (IF you have it on the correct settings, I figured this out.)

ROCCAT Isku: It looks very nice and professional, especially with the blue back-lighting on the keys. Also has the "Easy-Shift" key (as CAPS Lock) which unlocks a TON more customizable keys. Customization is very wide-ranged as well. The feeling of the keystrokes are very comfortable and are very responsive. I got used to it real quick. The palm rest is just "there." It is quite nice not having my palms on the tough wooden desk though.

BOTH: Look VERY nice together :) (Excellent Black and Blue color scheme) The "ROCCAT Talk" driver/firmware allows even MORE access to customizable buttons. (Too many buttons T~T But they ARE gaming accessories after all.)

Cons: ROCCAT Kone[+]: The scroll wheel is somewhat loud, but I could get used to it in a jiffy. Can become jittery at times (due to the Polling Rate. Can be fixed by lowering it.) When you place it back down after raising it, it spasms slightly (can be fixed by setting the Distance Control Unit to "Normal.") Unusually high DPI (60,000) isn't really required, but eh, doesn't hurt to have (just lower it.)

ROCCAT Isku: Still haven't been able to set my macro keys to a few shortcuts for ease-of-access, but I'm sure I could figure it out. Which it could be brighter, but it's still bright as it is (6 settings, including "OFF.") The only back-lighting color is blue.

Other Thoughts: I will come back eventually to write about these after a few months or maybe even a year, if they last that long. Hopefully they do! I'm satisfied with them so much already! :)

4 out of 5 eggsNice deal!

Pros: - A cheaper price than buying the components separately.
- Nice quality keyboard and mouse.
- Macros and incredible customization options!

Cons: - There are no available drivers for the mouse when using Windows 8.

Other Thoughts: You can get away with using the W7 drivers for the keyboard and the Kone XTD drivers if you're using Windows 8, but I'm disappointed that there aren't any drivers specific to the latest version of Windows. I docked one egg because of this although it still works as advertised.
