4 out of 5 eggsGreat for someone on a budget

Pros: Very comfortable, great response from keys. Has worked well for me in gaming, typing; great all-around keyboard. I'm typing this review with it right now.

Cons: The space key has gotten a bit soft as I've used it; still functions though.

Other Thoughts: The spacing and sharper edges of the keys might make it somewhat difficult for some people to type comfortably with it.

Pros: What they advertise is what you get

Great Buy for price i got it at

Cons: nothing here..just don't drop it

Other Thoughts: Their are other options in the price range. Just get what you want...bought this for 13-14 bucks i think..

4 out of 5 eggsGood Cheap Keyboard

Pros: Cheap, works well enough, I love flat keys

Cons: power button next to backspace (rip it out)

Other Thoughts: I found the power button by accident a couple times so just popped it off and have never accidentally turned off comp since.

3 out of 5 eggsNice looking but flawed.

Pros: Nice looking design. Keys are widely spaced. Plenty of media & function keys placed along of the bottom edge of the keyboard. (unusual placement but no complaints here) I like the firm wrist rest.

Cons: Construction is somewhat cheesy. Keys are mushy, not a nice tactile response when hitting keys. I have a cheapo laptop with chiclet keys that at least give a click when hit. These just go smoosh. Significant learning curve coming from a traditional cheap keyboard layout.

Other Thoughts: Buying input devices online is difficult, you just don't know until you use them. For the price this keyboard may make some people very happy.

1 out of 5 eggsAbsolute garbage

Pros: Inexpensive, has multimedia keys

Cons: Mushy, wears out super fast, power button right above backspace

Other Thoughts: Having used this keyboard for four months now, it is already wearing out pretty badly. My backspace button is almost completely worn out and is lower than the rest of the keys and the other keys take way more effort than they should to press down. Stock HP and Dell keyboards are way better than this trash. Newegg reviews, you have seriously let me down.

4 out of 5 eggsA great GP keyboard

Pros: This keyboard has the right feel and great response for touch typing. The layout is simply usable and expandable depending on your knowledge of shortcut mapping. Solid stable and has less button locking than normal keyboards.

Cons: The power button is next to Print screen and F12 so you have to disable that in your settings along with the sleep button above numlock.

Other Thoughts: It's a great all around keyboard for Gamer's and Business people alike. For the price point it's a steal. Purchase and Enjoy!

5 out of 5 eggsawesome!

Pros: lots of function keys. compact, but well placed. function keys have no issue in ubuntu (except open media player). nbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbii

Cons: space key makes a thump noise compared to the other keys.

A bit of grease was on the keys from the key mechanisms. wet paper towel solved this.

it is odd that the mute button is in the center set of function keys, but the vol +/- are in the left set.

Other Thoughts: great replacement for my rosewill 1600 mouse + keyboard (wireless transceiver broke).
Newegg, i appreciate your attempt to pack well, but the KB was at the bottom of a box filled with that paper filling.

Solution to the space thumping: put some really thin, soft material between the space key and the kb. to get keys off, take some plastic and pry from the top.

there are a few cons, but i enjoy messing with stuff, so no biggie for me!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: Large keys and very compact design.

I gotta say the keys are very responsive and flat. Love how the keys feel, they are pretty quiet with how I am slapping/hitting them. I came from a older Razer keyboard the one with a Iphone/Ipod dock, was big and bulky. This keyboards very slim and compact much lighter than what I was using.

I like it for gaming as well for anything else. though I do tend to hit another button occasionally but I just need to get used to the keyboard itself.

The media button under my palms are not even touched while typing, I think they are well placed and right under my fingers for quicker access.

Cons: The only complaint I have is there is no song forward and song previous to the multimedia buttons just has the play/pause and load media player.

I don't feel this is substantial to hinder it 5 eggs, in games if I find my music annoying I just turn it off now than hitting next song.

Other Thoughts: They should totally make a light version so the lettering can be seen at night or in dimly lit areas.

Honestly for $9 this was a great deal to switch from a $100+ keyboard.

2 out of 5 eggsIt is what it is.

Pros: Has a full array of feature buttons for shortcuts. The following keys are included across the bottom: (Browser buttons on the left) Back, Forward, Stop, and Refresh. In the center, My Computer, Bookmarks, Calculator, and Mute. On the right side, Volume+, Volume-, Paly/Pause, and Media Player.

Cons: - Keys are a bit mushy, being a rubber mat style key pad. The keys just don't give the type of resistance that feels comfortable to me, but they may be comfortable for others.

- I had a bad "F" key, causing me to to RMA the keyboard.

Other Thoughts: Since return shipping cost as much as this keyboard, NewEgg refunded my money and let me do whatever I wanted with the faulty keyboard. I opened it up and found that several screws were stripped in the plastic holes and some were set crooked, causing the keys to not always contact well. By using larger screws, I was able to get the keyboard working normally, but it really shows you what you get for the price. You just can't expect a great keyboard here. I will continue to look for other low priced options for work use.

The only reason I gave a second Egg was for the customer service that NewEgg supplied.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: - Lot of multimedia keys
- clean looking

Cons: Defective key on the item makes it pretty useless. Returning the item is not an option, because shipping costs what the item is worth. Cutting my losses with this item and got what I paid for.
