Some say that the constellation Eridanus symbolizes the path of the reckless journey by Phaethon with the stolen chariot of Helio. In ancient Greek Zibal means “river” which could symbolize the river where Phaethon landed after being struck down by a Thunderbolt from Zeus. Zibal together with its surroundings are not well known by mankind, there are still secrets to be revealed.

The Mionix Zibal 60 is a fusion of the best keyboard components together with great gaming features that gives you the edge to your game. Engineered with non-tactile, mechanical, black cherry MX switches that deliver the best feel to every keystroke. Multi-level backlight illumination paired with six key rollover that allows you to perform up to six simultaneous keystrokes with all keys, make the Zibal 60 standout from the crowd. In addition to the performance features, the Zibal 60 offers smart functions that include a two port USB 2.0 hub, audio/mic extensions and media control keys for full integration with your desktop setup.

1 out of 5 eggsDoes not work

Pros: Pretty standard keyboard if it works

Cons: It frequently stops working and takes a few seconds to get back up, I may have to unplug and plug it back in, I may have to reboot, and I may even have to plug in a replacement until it decides to start working again.

I've had it die out on me a few times now where I'm forced to just switch to another keyboard in the meantime until it decides to fix itself. It doesn't work on any computers during this time, while other keyboards work without issue.

The LED lights on a few keys are also placed too low and stand out too much. The larger keys (caps, shift, space) are not firmly set on the keyboard.

Other Thoughts: Will never buy another Mionix product. The Naos 8200 has been great since I've had it but dealing with Mionix support regarding the Zibal has been a nightmare. If you must purchase this keyboard, buy an extended warranty from Newegg -- you'll need it.

1 out of 5 eggsZibal 60 Review

Pros: Black Cherry Keys
Backlight
Simple Design

Cons: Build Quality (slowly fell apart)
Warranty (Mionix Ignoring E-mails)

Other Thoughts: Was a good keyboard until certain keys stopped being responsive. Then the backlighting went almost completely (only wasd works). I know things break but that's what warranties are for and I have e-mailed Mionix a million times and no response. Do not buy!

3 out of 5 eggsMionix Keeps Sending me Bad Replacements?

Pros: Solid build, backlit keys, good wrist rest, all mechanical keys, built in USB 2.0 hub, audio pass thru

Cons: Have 2 of these. Had the one I was using have keys stop working and put in RMA for replacement. They sent me a replacement board that had many keys that did not work. They had me send back again. They sent me one that was even worse and now don't respond to email when I request a good replacement. I think they have QA and stock issues.

They also had paint coming off of key caps. They sent me entire set of replacement keys. I had to do all the work to replace. Believe me when I tell you "that is a lot of work!" I couldn't move my hand when I was done. Cramps!

Other Thoughts: All and all a good keyboard if you can get a good one out of them and IF the would provide working replacement when you don't. Can't believe the game they are playing with me to get a good replacement!

5 out of 5 eggsso far so good.

Pros: Like everyone has said so far this keyboard is solid. Its sturdy, no ghosting so far easy to use plain design and convenient.
This is my first mionix keyboard at first was skeptical but just said why not. The grip on these keyboard is solid

Cons: price. i mean corsair and other companies are probably 10-20$ cheaper for the same keyboard. i only got this for the additional usb/ audio/mic ports. with the green light.

Other Thoughts: if your a light fan i dont recommend this cause i for one this the lighting is great but i do believe alot of people out their like their lights verrrry bright.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: Solid, heavy and reliable.
I can't recommend this keyboard enough.

Cons: Original key caps wore down relatively quickly(fairly high use, but the logitech G13 I had before for 4 years hasn't worn down) but Mionix was very quick in not only sending me a replacement for the keys that were worn, but an entire replacement set.

5 out of 5 eggsKEYCAP REPLACEMENT

Pros: I like everything about this keyboard.

Cons: Original keycaps fade - this is a known issue . if you email Minoix customer support they will respond and send you replacement keycaps for free! It didn't take long at all to get mine.

2 out of 5 eggsI wish I purchased another keyboard :(

Pros: The keys have a great feel to them! This keyboard is nice, heavy and sturdy so it doesn't move around easily. The green backlighting is very easy on the eyes, especially in the dark. It's a comfortable keyboard and the keys are very responsive.

Cons: I was trying to avoid writing any bad reviews and trying to convince myself that the pros outweigh the cons but that is not the case.
On the website, they advertise a "Lifespan of 50 million keystrokes and wear resistant laser printed keys"- yeah, totally not the case. I owned mine for a month and it was already faded. 6 months later 90% of my keys are *really* faded and worn. Even the space bar looks really, really bad.
-The windows key is next to the right ALT key instead of to the right of Ctrl. They replaced it with a proprietary action key. For someone who uses short cut keys on Windows a lot, this is very poor design and hard to get used to.
-The backlight doesn't save last setting and defaults to off when rebooting the pc. This wouldn't be an issue if it was only one quick key to change the backlight settings instead of their action key + F12.
-Even the detachable wrist-rest that comes with it shows very obvious signs of use.

Other Thoughts: If this keyboard was half of the price I paid for it at the time or less, I would just take it as a loss. But for the price, I don't think this keyboard was worth it and is the only part of my computer I am unhappy with :(. I regret this purchase (which is a first for me when it comes to computer peripherals).

4 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard although overpriced.

Pros: Great feel! I personally like that the left most keys are CTRL, SHIFT, TAB, etc. (and not Macro buttons like on other similar products). It has to do with my mind calibrating my whole life to the keys on the far left as these keys.

Cons: 1) Backlighting could be better (brightness + placement of LEDs). What I mean by this is that some keys are slightly unevenly lit, but I have never minded this sort of thing as it still does its job perfectly (e.g. dark rooms).

2) Overpriced at the time of purchase (and this review). It should be a lot cheaper.

Other Thoughts: If you don't mind the macro keys check out similar products first.

5 out of 5 eggsWAD a Keyboard

Pros: Sturdy keyboard - good design - green light is an excellent choice - looks good w steel series mouse which is green as well.

Rear Feet are strong enough to support the weight of the keyboard and easy to extract inorder to use them for added tilt for the keyboard.

Spoiller alert!!!
NON GLOSSY FINISH nice matte finish NO FINGERPRINTS
unlike others in the Razzer line!

They use the Cherry Mechanical switches w gold contacts not the sudo gold contacts you can find in other units.

Connections for sound and mic as well as 2 USB.

Nice touch is the added Miconix Key to access the keyboard functions - no cheap sliding switch stuck somewhere on the backside of the keyboard that would make you break your fingernail!

Cable that you can use as a trip wire - seriously this is industrial almost! But I think its addequate as you never know where that cable has to pass through to get to the computer - I am sure some black hole somwhere would tax it though. Also cable length is good i

Cons: Its somewhat heavy - its reported that the lettering on the keycaps will wear out from heavy gaming but you can get them from Mionix support!
The Key Caps do pop off and you can get replacements from the manufacture.
Que depth for repetive key strokes is not as deep as others this has a 6 key rollover others have more. I doubt that you will ever need that though unless your a pro Starcraft player.
They use the Black Cherry switchs which have the most downward force needed, this may only be an issue w someone who has repetive stress syndrome in their hands.
Somewhat rage proof which makes it heavier that a normal one but still not excessive.
Shipped in a real big box - is that a con not really as you can store that old nasty keyboard that you used to use in the box for you kid sister or better yet your mother-in-law.
Has USB 2.0 some USB keyboards are only USB1.1 spec- difference is that the data speed is slower w USB1.1 this could be and issue w certain motherboards (older uni

Other Thoughts: Also you can illuminate the WASD keys only - great for certain games.
Very comfortable hand position and how they keycaps fit the fingertips!
On the right side the shift and return are in what I call normall space or positioning! The design is not using the reverse L shape return key you find on other designs.
Which means that the |\ keys are right above it !
This has been the easyest keyboard to adapt too, if your a fast typest then you will love this keyboard.
Just as good as the DAS keyboard (both European made) and I think this is my favorite. Like in "Men in Black - put on the last suit you will ever need." This is just like that - it will outlast sever computer upgrade / or new replacement cpu's units - inother words almost forever. This is most likely be the last keyboard you will ever need -
Other goddies are the detachable wirst rest that really feels like a wrist rest and not like some delapidated foam rubber junk.
As always Newegg shipped it the day it was ord
