Cyborg V.7 Keyboard

Pros: Worked great for a year, for the most part. Good for gaming and typing. The lights are nice and cool, not necessary but definitely nice for late night gaming. The leds stayed bright throughout its life and even though the keys no longer work.

Cons: Literally just stopped working one day for absolutely no reason. Reinstalled drivers multiple times in an attempt to fix it. Even got a Windows update and still nothing.

Other Thoughts: My girlfriend recommended it for my mom to get it for me as a Christmas present, not sure where she got it from. But I normally order and read reviews on here, because I trust Newegg more than most places to shop.

Other Thoughts: the keyboard was awesome for the first week until the keys started to skip. After checking my drivers and reinstalling a couple of times, I decided I would just return it since I was still under warranty. That was a terrible idea. For the past month I have not gotten a single email back from MadCatz and every time I have called their support line, there is an automated response saying their phones are "down for the holidays" and i immediately get disconnected. I dont know what company in their right mind would shut down their customer service department for over a month right after christmas, but apparently that is their policy. I recieved this for christmas and since they haven't responded for over a month, my warranty is up and I am unable to return the keyboard anymore. Like I said, the keyboard was great but I should have bought it from newegg or a local computer store that would honor their customer support and return policy. If you have any second thoughts about this, just drop MadCatz tech support a call for yourself and see if theyre still enjoying their holiday.

Pros: it is a solid keyboard, as far as the keys go. button pressing and that work quite nicely. the backlights work pretty well and are fairly bright

Cons: 5 eggs if they had included blue leds as well, some of the color combinations are ugly

Pros: Multiple light set ups. Great for typing scripts and playing games a true tresure that im proud to own and part of my new build that uses the darrk fleet df-85 series amazing with this.

Pros: I bought one of these about 5 years ago, and decided to buy another one now for my newest computer. Nice quiet typing, extends headphone jacks/usb, and illuminates nicely.

Cons: Previous one developed an issue with some keys combining with the left shift only, and would work for the right shift. Very odd. New one did not come with silver WASD and arrow keys like the previous one did. Still, it's a great keyboard.

Pros: Customizable LED for WASD, main keys, arrows, numpad, and the two sets of 6 custom buttons. ALl pieces can change color independently between Red>Green>Lime>Yellow>Orange

WASD, arrow keys and space bar have aluminum finish

Keyboard feels quite sturdy and has a decent amount of weight to it.

Cons: No Blue LED, colors can only be mixed in matched in 'Cyborg' mode in normal mode you can only choose one solid color, and

These are not discrete keys but instead like macros that preform button presses/combos/mouse movements and lots of other fun features. The buttons themselves can not be directly bound in a game like TF2 or CS:S like extra mouse buttons can be.
