4 out of 5 eggsNot for PS3

Pros: Sleek, flat buttons, good weight, doesn't feel cheap.
Sinks with all my devices except PS3.

Cons: Unable to sink it with the PS3 (Playstation 3).
The PS3 detects the keyboard but at the point where you are to enter the 0000 code, it does not stay on the screen to enter the code. It blows right through it like you have a stuck enter key or something.

2 out of 5 eggsNice size for kids. Bad layout for typing.

Pros: Good size for kids' hands and convenient to carry with a tablet or phone. Simple connection and usually pairs quickly (when first turned on).
Uses AA batteries, so those are easy to find (and it comes with 2).
Includes Android specific function keys.

Cons: Not a standard keyboard layout. I bought this to let my kids learn touch typing on a smaller keyboard. However, this doesn't work when a few keys are not in the normal place. I could not get it to connect to my desktop until I updated the driver for my USB bluetooth adapter. There is no status light to let you know if you are still connected (or if the device is even still on). It turns off automatically but you don't know when it does this.
The Android function keys replace some standard keyboard function keys (no Esc key), yet still has other odd keyboard keys not needed on a phone (windows key, right click key).

Other Thoughts: I got this to let my kids use a smaller keyboard to learn to type. It wouldn't connect to my desktop for 2 months and finally got it to work with a driver update (on Windows 8). It is unfortunately fairly useless for this purpose since they don't type very often and it is always 'asleep' when they need to type something and it seems as if it isn't connected (or working at all in their minds), so they have written it off.
I may just keep it by the bed and use it with my cell phone when I want to send out some emails before bed.

4 out of 5 eggsContent

Pros: Pretty
Functional
inexpensive

Cons: hard to find support documents with model number using motorola's search engine.

Other Thoughts: My initial attempts to pair and connect were successful with my TF101., and unsuccessful with my HTC G2. The problem was with my G2 (phone)'s bluetooth implementation wasn't designed for keyboard pairing. I had to install an application to progress past "paired" and to "connected". I used the "BlueKeyboard JP" android app. From a very brief use attempt I still have the following limitations: keyboard layout isn't fully supported (shift keys, and android home), all other keyboard inputs have to be disabled in settings to force BlueKeyboard JP to take the initiative. Again, my testing has been extremely brief, but I hope that helps someone else. Here are some phrases to help search queries find this: paired but not connected, cant connect, bluetooth keyboard wont connect,

3 out of 5 eggsMotorola Bluetoth Keyboard

Pros: - Price
- Reasonably well made
- Connects to iOS, Android, PC, and OS X systems
- Included Duracell batteries
- Volume up/down and other media keys (Tested on Android & OS X)

Cons: - Bizarre layout, this is NOT a UK layout, nor a US layout
- The single quote is next to the 1 key!!
- Had to re-pair once or twice
- Small size

Other Thoughts: - Could not be configured as a DVORAK layout in OS X due to being an odd layout. When I tried there was no way to map the keys correctly. ('S' was above the enter!)

3 out of 5 eggsUpdated review

Pros: Low cost, good design.

Cons: Disconnects a lot! Very annoying. Type something, pause for 1 second - it will disconnect randomly. You have to hit some keys and wait 2-30 seconds for it to reconnect; it will drive you mad! I'm 3ft from my tablet, using new batteries. I tried the resetting and "computer connection" procedure in manual, did not work.

Other Thoughts: Change bluetooth visibility from "only paired devices" (android default) to "everyone - no timeout" - this may be more insecure, but it makes this keyboard reconnect much faster when it decides to randomly disconnect.
