2 out of 5 eggsiHome? iSham

Pros: light, attractive, low sound buttons, wireless, long battery life.

Cons: I could never get any of the lights to work, (scroll lock, numlock, capslock) even after returning it three times. (Which at local computer stores, this combo is half the price that Newegg charges for the exact same item) Even though the mouse program says the programmable buttons are set to where I want them, they won't work, and after about an hour of use, the mice start squeaking. It's not even a joke, either. I took it apart, and moved a screw to a new location, (it seems to be missing one out of two) and the noise stops.

Other Thoughts: Great setup... IF you can get it to work, and IF it stays working.

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than expected

Pros: To be honest I just needed a keyboard, preferably wireless since I do a lot of my college work with a full desk and my keyboard in my lap or off to the side. With Windows 7 it installed perfectly, and all of the hotkeys work without setting anything up. This is also nice because the keys are similar to laptops, light, quiet and responsive.

Cons: Not rechargeable, but I didn't pay for that. It did come with duracells though.
This came in a box that could fit a tower, and for something that weighs so little, it was a lot for shipping. It did make it here in 2 days from fedex 3-day, so I guess I cant complain too much.

Other Thoughts: There are no pictures online that show this in detail. if you want a picture of the keyboard and mouse pm me.

4 out of 5 eggsI Rocks keyboard is far superior

Pros: I have bought both keyboards and compared to the I Rocks this one, mouse and keyboard doesn't feel as nice to the touch. Customer service actually called me back which is a surprise with computer component companies these days. As mentioned in my previous review this one has programmable keys which is nice.

Cons: mouse doesn't feel very comfortable and it doesn't have a forward and backward buttons. At also is hard to press with the index finger.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Range! Just don't break the little USB dongle.

Pros: I decided to take a leap into uncharted territory and buy this set up inspite of the fact that it had no reviews. I decided to buy it just so I could be the first to review it and to share my thoughts with others. I like the fact that it is thin and small. I bought this setup for my HTPC so range was very important. I am happy to announce that this setup has a very long range. I placed the keyboard and mouse on the far side of the room which is about 35 feet away from my TV and I can still control the mouse and keyboard from that distance. As a matter of fact, I couldn't even see the mouse pointer from that distance, I had to right click just to bring up the menu so that I knew it was receiving the transmission. This unit has a tiny USB transmitter that only sticks out of the front USB about 3/4 inch. Which allows me to close my entertainment center glass door with about a 1/8 inch to spare. Programmable function keys that bring up netflix, nero and windows media player is nice.

Cons: After two days I bumped into and bent/broke the tiny USB dongle. I emailed Newegg and the manufacturer to see if I could just buy the USB transmitter instead of spending another $45.00 buying the entire setup again. Newegg never responded to my email. The manufacturer/distributor responded the next day. As a matter of fact they called me the next day. But they said they don't sell parts and that I would need to buy the entire setup again. So now I'm into this Ihome keyboard for $90+ dollars. NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT! AND the 1st keyboard and mouse don't work with the new USB transmitter that came with the second wireless keyboard and mouse. They must be paired with each other prior to being shipped from the manufacturer.

Other Thoughts: Its only been a couple weeks but if there are any issues with this unit I'll be sure to report. So far I would recommend it.
The mouse clicker is a little bit harder to press than my other mouses. Over time that may soften up.
For my second HTPC in my bedroom I just bought a I Rocks wireless setup. I haven't tried it out yet but we'll see which one is better.
