1 out of 5 eggsAwful

Pros: Cheap

Cons: When I plug this keyboard in, the LED's freak out, and it makes my cursor start to flash. Then the entire machine slows down to a crawl, and I am using high end hardware. Plus, the bezel just popped off the keyboard.
Terrible.

3 out of 5 eggsgreat little keyboard

Pros: has programmable keys
little logo that lights up
rubber w,a,s,d. up/down/left/right arrow keys that you can change out
has key remover tool to make it easy to pull keys out
spill proof
has shortcut keys for various tasks

Cons: no mechanical switches
keys do not light up
palm rest is a fingerprint magnet

Other Thoughts: this keyboard isn't really a gaming keyboard, it's more of an "advanced" keyboard with shortcut keys and rubber grips to find the keys easier. I paid $18 for mine with shipping but I'm satisfied.
It seems as though Rosewill bought out Sharkoon as Rosewill's RK-8100 model is the exact same as Sharkoon's

5 out of 5 eggsimpressed

Pros: It has has removable keys for w,a,s,d,up,down, left, right
cool little blue logo that lights up
plenty of programmable keys

Cons: the palm rest pad below the space bar is not removeable
no light up keys

Other Thoughts: I think the rubber blue keys that they include are pretty neat. i had plenty of times where my fingers would slip from those keys while gaming and I would die. I'm very impressed with the keyboard and its price. It's $7 more than what a standard keyboard cost so I didn't think I had much to loose.

4 out of 5 eggsSHARKOON Skiller 000SKSK

Pros: - $17
- Honestly I like the look, shiny black with flat black
- Prominent letters on keys
- Feels crisp and poppy to type on
- Not very loud

Cons: There are a couple reviews out there on this keyboard, and to get details you should read those

- The blue "S" and blue lights under the media keys are REALLY REALLY REALLY BRIGHT. Way too bright. Seriously it's too bright. I have black tape over them.
- The excessively bright lights never go away. Even when the computer is off
- The Enter key is 3x too big and the backspace key is half the size it should be
- Whoever laid out the media keys was drunk
- All the keys feel a little too compact. Just a tiny bit too small

Other Thoughts: Overall it's a $17 keyboard and I don't see any huge draw backs. I didn't like my 3rd gen hand-me-down computer keyboard and don't have the money for a super nice keyboard. This one is fine.

Speaking of 3rd gen hand-me-downs, my computer still runs XP and the software the keyboard came with killed my computer. Everything works, I just can't program buttons. Sucks but it is not Sharkoons fault

5 out of 5 eggsVery impressive for the price

Pros: Could pass as a 60$ keyboard. Very thick cable, comes with extra rubber keys, which feel amazing.

Cons: Wider than I expected.

Other Thoughts: I got it for 20$ on shellshocker sale

1 out of 5 eggsNot as pictured, not good quality

Pros: Nice angle, overall most pre-programmed keys work. Nice wrist rest shape.

Cons: Software not Windows 8 compatible. Poor overall quality - does not last long before problems set in. Cap lock is way too easy to turn on, and the enter is key is not as shown in the photo..it is much larger (good) but the backspace key is smaller resulting in often hitting the F12 key by mistake.

Other Thoughts: I bought this keyboard to use for everyday PC use, not for gaming - but I liked the feel of the keys and the layout. But that did not last long. The key feel really went soft, key cap text is wearing off faster than you'd expect with a $10 cheapie, and that is what I replacing.

There are a couple major key layout issues. The enter is key a backwards L shape, which is okay - but the sacrifice is a small backspace key that your fingers often slip off of and hit the F12 key instead. Also the Cap Lock key is waaaaay too easy to hit. It is wider than the tab key and right up against the "A" key. Dumb.

Lastly the utility software is not Windows 8 compatible. Like it or not, I have Windows 8.1 and it kept rebooting. It's troubleshooting found the Sharkoon software to be the cause. Removed it - Windows 8 has been rock stable.

I am tossing this keyboard away. Cheap as it is, it's not even worth it's affordable price when a $10 cheapie is better quality.
