Pros: Back lit, mechanical cherry red mx, solid build quality. (plastic and aluminum). wrist wrest is comfortable.

Cons: Only one LED color white.

Other Thoughts: I would wate a few months before upgrading your keyboard. THIS keyboard is comming out as a fully mechanical keyboard with 16.8 million RGB color

Pros: Brushed Aluminum finish, functionality and looks great. Software non-invasive and simple to use.

Cons: Got it in October 2013, this board is now doubling, sometimes triple typing the letters I'm pushing down. Enter key barely recognizes my push and sometimes takes >4 times to register. A few other keys are sharing same pattern of failure. I'm not sure if the switches are bad or if this can be resolved by drivers. Severely disappointed with the amount of $ I've spent on this board only for it to last <year. Havent spilled anything on it, normal use. Kept in climate controlled room, etc.

Other Thoughts: Bought 2, 1 for me and my brother. His is working fine.

Pros: Looks nice sturdy design mechanical switches have a nice feel. easy to program.

Cons: LED's burn out

Other Thoughts: Would have been a great keyboard but LED backlight on some keys have burned out. Considering the price and expected life of LED's this appears to be a design issue (over driving the lamps) or a quality issue with the assembly/soldering. I would expect better from Corsair.

Pros: For the most part descent.

Cons: LEDS burnt out within the year and more keep going. Have 2 open tickets with corsair and I never get a response. I have many corsair components in a very high end build but it seems this might change for all future builds if this is how their customer service is conducted.

Other Thoughts: I would expect more from an item that costs this much.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard, but LEDs die quite quickly

Pros: The keyboard is great! It feels great and I love the wrist rest on it. The keys feel great and the G-keys are very useful, you can set them to many different commands.

I love the black brushed aluminum back plate on the keyboard, it gives it strength and a great look to it.

Cons: Now heres where the keyboard fell short, a lot. The LEDs die very quickly. I have had my K95 for about 8 months and 10 LEDs have died in the past 3 months. It took the LEDs a while to start dying, but once the first one went, one went about every week.The LEDs that have died are not even the ones that get the most use on the keyboard as well. One of them on mine is the * sign on the number pad.

Pros: Feels great, looks great, keys feel amazing, very customizeable

Cons: Unreliable, dies, terrible customer support, no FAQ, constant issues, owner has to pay for shipping for RMA, takes too long for RMA to be fullfilled

Other Thoughts: I purchased this keyboard approximately four months ago, but I only listed my ownership as 1 day to a week because that's how long I've actually had one. The first one I had was working great for a while. At one point, I unplugged it so I could move my computer and when I plugged it back in, nothing turned on. No lights, nothing.
So, after submitting an RMA and waiting for almost a week, they finally gave me a chance to send it back. I then waited for over a month for a new one.
I got my new keyboard in the mail less than a week ago. I plugged it in, everything lit up and I was excited for a second chance. I rested my wrists on the pad aaaaaand everything went out and my caps lock, scroll lock, and num lock lights all started flashing. Nothing works now.
It takes forever for their customer service to get back with you, they do nothing but ask you to pay to have it sent in, and just make the entire experience a nightmare. I will never be purchasing a Corsair product again, this is just sad.

Pros: Solid built quality, drivers and software.

The power cord is thick and has a weave pattern similar to carbon fiber. Makes it very flexible unlike most standard rubber cords.
The dual USB cord confused me at first. Quickly found out one powers the keyboard and the other powers the USB port on the keyboard for peripherals.

Cons: Would be nice if I could customize the backlighting in software instead of being limited to a few built-in hardware options.

Other Thoughts: Keyboard is super sensitive. You only need to tap the key a bit for the press the register. Whether that's what you're looking for is up to you.

Can't figure out what the lock button the keyboard does.

Pros: Everything I want in a keyboard
-Volume slider
-media buttons
-All mechanical keys
-backlighting

Cons: I've had this keyboard for nearly a year now, bought it on sale last summer. Recently I noticed that one of the LEDs has gone out, and just today a second one has. Both of the keys I rarely/never use but they are already going out. The buttons work fine but there is no backlighting behind them now. Very annoying since I have treated this keyboard very well and always transport it in the box it came in when I need to move my PC.

Other Thoughts: Going to look in to see if Corsair will repair it since it's not even a year old. For the money I paid, I expect a keyboard to last a couple years before falling apart at least.
