4 out of 5 eggsNice!

Pros: Aluminum build
Braided cable
Attractive design

Cons: Reds may be a bit too sensitive for my tastes (not a fault of Corsair)
A couple letters are disappearing from the keycaps (after about 6 months)
No backlighting

Other Thoughts: Great keyboard, compact size! First experience with red switches, which are a little bit too sensitive for me, so YMMV. The etched letters may deteriorate over time.
I bought this keyboard while on sale (about $50) and would be a no-brainer at that price, but for MSRP price, there are some better choices out there.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid and comfortable

Pros: This is a very well designed and built keyboard, no nonsense, no frills.

The FN key is located out of the way in a seldom used area, the Windows key lock is a well thought feature but should have been done differently.

Cons: Could have been made smaller by shaving off the empty area where the Corsair logo and media keys sit, I don't see why the volume controls weren't assigned to the FN F5-F8 block.

A set of heavier switches should have been used for the spacebar, actuation weight is way too light.

Other Thoughts: I'm perplexed by the diamond knurl pattern on the spacebar, it feels out of place given the rest of the keyboard.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little minimalist gaming keyboard.

Pros: This little keyboard is a great, sleek, minimalist design. It really has no frills, just what you need. It's a full sized keyboard, with with the number pad chopped off to make it smaller overall without sacrificing the size of the keys. There are no LED lights to burn out, and the switches are Cherry MX Reds. The USB cable is nicely braided and detachable. It is solidly constructed with a great looking and open brushed aluminum face. Volume control with mute and a Windows key lock button are nice finishing touches.

Between all of this and the anti-ghosting, this is a great little keyboard if all you want is a relatively simple mechanical keyboard with no frills.

I really enjoy it's basic aesthetic, which goes great with my Corsair M65 Vengeance laser gaming mouse and my Corsair Air 540 case. Overall, a very sleek and minimalist themed setup.

Cons: None at the moment.

Other Thoughts: If you don't like Cherry MX-Red switches, this isn't going to change your mind. I'd honestly prefer the MX-Brown switches if they were an option, but the the Red ones it has work like Red switches are supposed to. The option would be nice, but I bought it knowing they were MX-Red, so not really something to dock an Egg for.

5 out of 5 eggsFast and Sensitive

Pros: This keyboard is very sensitive and when you hit a key it registers fast. So it take sometime to get use to but speeds in RTS games and shootings are much faster than the average keyboard. The Cherry Red Stitches are nice smooth.

Cons: Cable is a bit on the shorter side. I would have liked it to be a bit longer. But you can use any mini usb cable with this keyboard of you tower is far away.

Other Thoughts: Not really a con but just something to think about. There is no feed back on these keys, the action happens before the key hits the bottom. I like it but it did take some time to get used to. I would recommend the Brown switches for those who are looking for something in the middle of Reds and Blues.

3 out of 5 eggsvery short cable

Pros: no 10 key. smooth key operation, heavy, good build quality

Cons: cable length is just awful, otherwise it would get 5 eggs. corsair must think my tower is in my lap. the new egg video says the cable is 5 feet long, I measured it and it is just under 4 foot. so now I have a cable running across my neat and clean desk when all other cables are hidden and nicely managed,

Other Thoughts: like I said cable length is just a big fail on such a nice keyboard, if you read this corsair you need to ship everyone who bought this keyboard a 6 foot cable. my tower is not a laptop therefore the short cable isn't gonna make it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!!!

Pros: -Feels good

-The removed numeric keypad makes this keyboard really compact and the keys are still far apart making this really confortable.

Cons: Not one yet.

Other Thoughts: -If your a heavy Excel user this is not for you. But i don't use the numeric keypad that often so it's not a con i my case but a pro.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat design/feel

Pros: This is my first gaming keyboard after playing with a few demo ones. Feel very well suited to gaming, as the type of keys provide almost no resistance when pressed. This might however be a problem if you use it mostly for typing

Cons: Not the best for typing

5 out of 5 eggsnice keyboard

Pros: this keyboard is really nice wasn't to sure how i would like the cherry mx red switches coming from blue but i been gaming on it for a couple hours now and it feels really nice the build quality is really good the look and feel of the keyboard just makes things better i came from using blues and this is defiantly good for gaming ok at typing but i haven't really had a problem except there touchy at times but im not 100% used to the keyboard either so yeah.

Cons: the only thing is printed keys make the keys make it look a little cheaper but doesn't effect the performance

Other Thoughts: i picked it up this keyboard for 65 bucks replacing my old keyboard which got a bunch of soda spilled in it so some keys stopped clicking and were rough pressing so this is nice for what i paid and so far im happy
