5 out of 5 eggs2 YEARS STRONG

Pros: Great Keyboard
Still dont need to put o-rings on

Cons: I need to buy a key cap puller to clean it :(

Other Thoughts: The brushed Aluminum is gorgeous but if it gets really cold where you are i dont recommend because it will be a heatsink for your hands

4 out of 5 eggsFirst Mechanical Keyboard

Pros: I enjoy the nice, and how compact it is with the limited desk space I have. First mechanical keyboard is nice, but I have one issue that I will list in the con section.

Cons: Since it's red cherry mx I noticed that I make quiet a lot of mistakes which isn't to much of a issue because I think I'll adapt to it at some point. I also wish there was backlighting but I will buy one with that feature in the near future, lol.

Other Thoughts: Great keyboard overall. Money well spent.

1 out of 5 eggsshocking experience

Pros: Compact, sexy aluminum finish.

Cons: Keyboard started shocking me after owning it awhile. Also seems like I have issues w/ key rollover. I'll type fast and shift actions get applied to the next key I hit, or letters get rearranged. Expect this with a membrane cheapy, but not a nice mechanical keyboard. Would use PS/2, but my lil ITX board doesn't have one.

Other Thoughts: Going to contact Corsair for an RMA, but might resell what I get back for a Cooler Master unit with browns or blues. Switched from a Razer Black Widow Ultimate to this due to severely limited desk space and rarely using the 10-key. Also really like the aluminum finish, but it's not worth it if it's going to try and electrocute me all the time.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it

Pros: The name says it all... its mechanical, it's compact and it's a corsair. Keys feel smooth to type and have plenty of space for a relaxed hand position.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Buy this sexy lil keyboard if you're tight on space.

5 out of 5 eggsStill getting used to it

Pros: -Great look
-Sturdy
-Typing feels great
-Shipping was amazingly fast

Cons: -small nick on the board, not sure how that happened, could've been through shipping

Other Thoughts: Maybe cherry reds aren't for me. What I didn't realize was how SENSITIVE the keys are (an aspect of the cherry mx red switches). My hand rests on the keyboard too heavily sometimes and I find myself jumping accidentally in FPS games. It still takes time to get used to, like others have said. It's still comfortable for me to bottom out every key, so which is why I think brown or blues might be better for me, but I'll have to try out the sound before I do that, and this keyboard will still last me a while.

3 out of 5 eggsCould have been better.

Pros: - Durable brushed steel frame
- Cherry reds are very nice
- Windows lock key is very good for games, especially fps
- Full key rollover through usb
- Compact design and removable braided cable gives it portability

Cons: - Ctrl and shift key registers twice on one key press on my keyboard
- Does not work in bios even when switched to bios mode
- No included key cap puller or other such accessories

Other Thoughts: Aside from the ability to disable the windows key, this product has a notable lack of features not only from the keyboard itself but from the lack of accessories such as a key cap puller. The brushed aluminum looks great out of the box but gets dirty easily. At the current price you can find keyboards at this price range that provide many more features, so I suggest you catch this keyboard on sale like I did.

5 out of 5 eggsCorsair K65

Pros: Cherry MX Red Keyswitches. Removable braided cable. The windows lock key is great for gaming. Nice metal looking frame.

Cons: USB hub would have been nice but it is understandable at this price point. I would have liked to have seen a key puller in the box.

Other Thoughts: This was my first mechanical keyboard. Now that I have been using this for a little over a month, I don't think that I will be able to go back to the traditional keyboards. I love the cherry mx red switches. Thinking about getting the corsair m65 mouse!

4 out of 5 eggsNice!

Pros: Aluminum build
Braided cable
Attractive design

Cons: Reds may be a bit too sensitive for my tastes (not a fault of Corsair)
A couple letters are disappearing from the keycaps (after about 6 months)
No backlighting

Other Thoughts: Great keyboard, compact size! First experience with red switches, which are a little bit too sensitive for me, so YMMV. The etched letters may deteriorate over time.
I bought this keyboard while on sale (about $50) and would be a no-brainer at that price, but for MSRP price, there are some better choices out there.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid and comfortable

Pros: This is a very well designed and built keyboard, no nonsense, no frills.

The FN key is located out of the way in a seldom used area, the Windows key lock is a well thought feature but should have been done differently.

Cons: Could have been made smaller by shaving off the empty area where the Corsair logo and media keys sit, I don't see why the volume controls weren't assigned to the FN F5-F8 block.

A set of heavier switches should have been used for the spacebar, actuation weight is way too light.

Other Thoughts: I'm perplexed by the diamond knurl pattern on the spacebar, it feels out of place given the rest of the keyboard.
