3 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard, terrible LEDs

Pros: The keyboard itself is excellent. After a little more than one year of ownership I have nothing but good things to say about the performance and ease of use.

Cons: Within one month several of the blue LED lights on the keyboard had failed. After one year nearly half of the LED lights on the keyboard have fail. Although the keyboard continues to perform well it is disappointing that I paid extra for LEDs that failed so quickly.

4 out of 5 eggsHigh build quality MX Keyboard

Pros: Great feel, quality key feel, blue switches still feel like new after over one year of use, easy to clean, volume and track controls, metal board/build quality is appreciated.

Cons: The LED on my W has been out for a few months, honestly I only used the lighting for about the first 4 months of owning this so it must have broken due to excessive force on the W key during gaming. Kind of sad, but whatever I guess now I have a distinctive unlit W forever! Hopefully more lights don't go out for a while.

Other Thoughts: included textured wasd and number keys are neat, but I've never used them.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard

Pros: Very impressed.
Extremely high build quality.
No macro keys (I don't use them so I prefer to not have them)
Cherry MX Blues are pretty good.

Cons: No cons. Only that I think I would prefer Reds :)

2 out of 5 eggsFailing LED's

Pros: K70 MX Blue-Great key action. I couldn't believe how many typing errors I had from my old keyboard. Love this one. My kids (14 & 12) are all over it too. Love the USB 3.0 pass-thru port on the back of the keyboard.

Cons: Purchased the K70 in February and it is now August. Currently 5 LED's don't work. They just started failing about a month ago and are dropping at about 1 a week. The keys that are dying aren't even ones I use (like the right 'ALT' key). Now I'll have to go through the hassle of RMA'ing it. For $120 I expect a lot more durability. Thankfully 2yr warranty with Corsair.

Other Thoughts: Awesome keyboard other than the lifespan of the LED's.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard!

Pros: - The brushed metal looks great in the black and the silver finish and doesnt fingerprint easily.
- The design is simple but is still extremely capable.
- LED's can get pretty bright.
- The cherry mx blue switches make for a really tactical gaming and typing experience.
- The volume adjustment wheel is fluid and feels solid.
- I like having the option to change out the WASD keys and the 1-6 keys with the provided rubberized keys.
- The overall build quality is fantastic with this keyboard.
- Its nice to have programmable back lighting.

Cons: - Some of the larger keys are kind of 'mushy' but its really nothing too problematic.
- You can only save one back light pattern at a time which is a hassle if you play a lot of different games and you want certain keys lit that pertain to that game.
- With the optional rubberized keys, the LED's look a little strange in my opinion.
- The height adjustment tabs aren't rubberized.

Other Thoughts: I just wanted to add that this isn't the exact model i have. i have the black finish with red backlighing but it still has the cherry mx blue switches.

3 out of 5 eggsMixed feelings

Pros: Fantastic feel, nice and loud, sturdy build quality.

Cons: 7 months later i have about 30 dead LEDs. 30!! So i am currently in the RMA process. It wouldn't' bother me nearly as much if there weren't so many dead bulbs.

Other Thoughts: This is my first mechanical keyboard and think its great. Make sure to research the switches to see if blue is right for you however. I have no qualms with it.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat while it lasted

Pros: This keyboard is a dream to type on and feels amazing. I used this mainly at work and not as a "gaming" keyboard. I actually looked forward to typing long emails with this because it just felt so nice. It is pretty loud, so if you have people around you in a work environment, it may get a bit annoying.

Cons: After docking my laptop to my port replicator after a meeting, the keyboard just stopped altogether. Basically no lights or functionality at all. I've had much cheaper keyboards that have lasted several connects/disconnects on the same port replicator that have never shorted out or failed. I'm not sure if this activity was the cause for the death of this thing, but one week of use before breaking is not a good experience no matter what the cause.

Other Thoughts: I paid my $12 blood money (return shipping) to RMA my keyboard that I got to use for one week. Now it appears they are out of stock so I will probably end up just getting a refund (minus $12 'rental fee') or just waiting a while for a replacement. So even if the next one lasts a while, I had the awesome opportunity to spend $12 more than I should have for 1 week of use and a lot of waiting.

3 out of 5 eggsKeys' lights go out

Pros: When I first got it I loved the keyboard: great design, cool look, worked well, etc.

Cons: After about a month the back light on the 'M' key went out. A couple weeks later the 'Pause Break' key went out as well and then the 'R' key. At first it wasn't that big of a deal because they were only a couple. Today the 'A', 'Z', and '4' all went out. If this rate continues half the keys won't light up by the end of the year.

I just had higher expectations for the keyboard's durability, especially the light features, which was the reason I bought it in the first place.

Other Thoughts: Cool keyboard but don't be surprised if the backlight on some keys goes out.

5 out of 5 eggsBest keyboard I've ever owned

Pros: -Super clicky
-Very accurate and precise
-Sounds amazing
-I feel like I can almost type faster now

Cons: None. Honestly there really is none. You get what you pay for with an MX Blue keyboard.

Other Thoughts: If you are thinking about buying this keyboard, do it. You will not regret it.
