Legendary Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Performance With
Virtually Unlimited Customization

The Vengeance K70 RGB mechanical gaming keyboard begins with the performance of the legendary Vengeance K70, and adds multicolor per-key backlighting for virtually unlimited customization.

Every key is backed with a cherry MX RGB key switch for precise actuation and superior feel, and full key rollover and anti-ghosting ensure accurate gameplay.

Multi-Color, Per-Key Backlighting for Virtually Unlimited Customization
Every one of the keys can be assigned a unique backlighting color from a palette of 16.8 million. This gives you opportunities for key binding that you've never seen before in a mechanical keyboard.

Mechanical Key Switches for Ultimate Performance
For reliability and consistency, there's no substitute for Cherry MX mechanical key switches. The K70 RGB uses Cherry MX Red switches for super-fast actuation time and smooth, linear key response for ultra fast double and triple taps without the audible click.

Aircraft-Grade Black Anodized Brushed Aluminum Finish
You get impressive looks, light weight, and the rugged durability you need for a keyboard that's going to see a lot of action.

100% Anti-Ghosting with Full Key Rollover on USB
Every keystroke translates into accurate gameplay - even when multiple keys are pressed. There's no signal degradation, and it keeps up with you, no matter how fast you play.

Detachable Soft-Touch Wrist Rest
Give your wrists a break, or take it off if it gets in the way.

Assign Macros to Any Key
Just one more reason why the K70 RGB is one of the most advanced gaming keyboards the world has ever seen – you can set up any key to trigger a macro. The all-new control panel software makes it easy. FPS, MOBA, or even Minecraft - the K70 RGB has it covered.

Fast and Fluid RGB Animation
The K70 RGB uses a Panasonic display controller for amazing multicolor light shows -- pulsing, waving and cascading lighting in 16.8 million colors.

Onboard Memory Takes Performance and Lighting Settings with You
Do you take your gaming to go? Built-in storage lets you set it up once, and take it anywhere.

Easy-Access, Dedicated Multimedia Controls
You don't just play games - you play music and video, too. Play, stop, pause, skip tracks and adjust volume directly from the K70.

All-New Desktop Control Software
Design your own per-key 16.8 million color lighting patterns, select unique lighting for each key independently for your favorite games, or use the sophisticated macro programming tool.

4 out of 5 eggsThis is an awesome keyboard!

Pros: Well worth the purchase price. Still working well for me. None of the LEDs have burnt out as of yet.

Cons: Software for managing the lighting display is not intuitive (hence the four stars). It takes time to learn it and get it down.

3 out of 5 eggsGo with the new model

Pros: It worked as a keyboard

Cons: Lights died, had to RMA

Other Thoughts: Go with the RGB Model. Like many other purchasers, mine arrived with several dead LEDs. This model is no longer manufactured by Corsair, so I had to return it and buy the new RGB model to replace it.

5 out of 5 eggsCorsair Vengeance K70

Pros: By far the most impressive, responsive, and customizable keyboard I have ever owned. The keyboard has not only a great feel but also a 'well-built' feel to it. Software is very straight forward and allows for an excessive amount of customization.

Cons: None to report

1 out of 5 eggsWait for it

Pros: Beautiful design, professional looking, high quality keys and switches. First company to realize gamers grew up and have deep pockets. We don't want all green chunky plastic keyboards any more.

Cons: Where do I start? I'm a network engineer with a little knowledge on computers :). I've tried every "complicated" workaround there is to get this thing working correctly and it doesn't. It's garbage. The colors on the keyboard do not match what you set them to on the client. It's time for a class action lawsuit on this one, really, false advertising on the actual capabilities. It causes my computer (a 2K+ gaming rig with raid SSDs) to lag hard. Key strokes lag, the boot really lags. I have tried every bios setting, no win. 90% of the time the Corsair SW does not reconize there is a keyboard or mouse plugged in. I have M65 too. it's garbage as well. I half to exit the SW then restart it and then it can see the keyboard and apply the lighting rules. The dimming button will only change to the right color when the SW is stopped. After the SW starts it changes the button color to white. LOL.... This is like the biggest wast of $200 ever. Corsair would have been better off to put a mechanical switch on the side that allows the user to pick 7 colors and call it a day. Releasing a un tested non working product is a joke. Can I get a 0 egg for this one?

Other Thoughts: I will never buy Corsair anything again. Mice, Keyboards, Ram, Cases, nothing ever again. I'm lucky because I ordered this from a big box retailer and can walk it back to the store. I'm sorry for anyone who orders it off Newegg and has to pay for an RMA sticker. Corsair is ballsey for put this out. They are really asking for a kick in the teeth, making consumers spend $220 on a K70, M65 combo thats NOT ready for market.

3 out of 5 eggsGood keyboard

Pros: SUPER customizable. Not overly loud. Feels fairly well built without weighing two tons.

Cons: Felt like I needed some sort of doctorate to use the software the first time I ran it. It may take some playing with motherboard settings and the BIOS switch on the keyboard to be able to use the keyboard to get to BIOS during boot up. Ludicrously expensive if you aren't going to use fancy lighting settings.

Other Thoughts: If I could go back in time I would probably purchase this keyboard again. Probably..

5 out of 5 eggsWow

Pros: I have to say that I knew to expect quality with this keyboard but I am blown away.
Let's get right into this, initially I was leery about getting the red switches as I am accustomed to blues - that being said these are amazing to type on as they require very little pressure to actuate.

I don't know if they stopped making them with it but my keyboard does NOT have the "lower back tattoo" (couldn't type out that other word haha) logo instead it came with, my preferred, the sails logo.

The amount of user made profiles at this point allows you to get a pretty good customization right from the forum.
The look of this keyboard is great, the caps and switches feel great and I can tell that it's going to be much easier to clean than any keyboard I have had prior.

The detachable wrist rest feels nice, and it's nice to have not only the kickstand lifts in the back but the front as well.
Only needing to use one USB port so long as it's in 3.0 is a bonus as well.
The keyboard does have a decent amount of weight to it and the metal face feels amazing.

Cons: Even though I gave this 5 stars I do have to point out a couple things that I feel were missed opportunities.

Firstly there is no USB through on the keyboard the pro to that is it frees up an additional port in the back of your computer due to as stated above if you are using usb 3.0 you only need to use one of the USB headers.

Another thing is that I think the LEDs ares slightly dim compared to the Razer keyboard I am coming from, blackwidow ultimate 2013, though they had a white back plate for it to reflect off of.
Really the biggest con would be that the 16 million colors as of right now are more like 500, though I didn't take off for that because they have stated it is a compression issue and they are aware and resolving that issue.

I guess I could also say with a keyboard at this price point I would have expected a key cap puller but I'm guessing any of you that are serious about your keyboard either have one already or know how to fashion one out of paperclips.

Other Thoughts: I know that I have not had this keyboard very long as of yet, so let me assure you that if ANYTHING changes in a negative way I will be back to let you know.

1 out of 5 eggsBig disappointment

Pros: -Brushed aluminum construction
-bright lighting
-perfect size with numpad
-long cable for reaching over to a couch
-great media keys
-great feel on keys when typing, soft yet durable and responsive
-They fixed the logo (just plain corsair now) instead of crazy tattoo-stamp one.

Cons: -Software even after all updates (including firmware) is an absolute nightmare. Glitchy as all get out. I used it all day yesterday with no problems, but when I turned my computer on today, the corsair software can't even see the keyboard. None of my light profiles are there, the keyboard just doesn't exist. I am typing on it just fine (writing this review with it actually) but its uncontrollable, unprogrammable, and the macros are gone. There is no detection of this keyboard in the software at all, and all of my profiles are gone.

-My keyboard actually arrived damaged :P The spacebard on mine has this gash right through the center, which I didn't think was that big of an issue. I contacted corsair and asked them to send me a new key to replace it with but they said no, just return it. So now that the thing doesn't work... I guess I will. For $170 bucks... this was a huge unexpected disappointment.

Other Thoughts: Sadly, there just aren't any other really good options out there either. Logitech is ok I guess, and I'm so sick of razer I can't stand to look at anything green anymore.. so... guess its back to my wireless one for a while.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Keyboard

Pros: This keyboard looks and feels great. This is a very good gaming keyboard and the rgb leds lights do a great job of lighting this keyboard up. The cherry mx red switches are some of the best mechanical switches out on the market in my opinion.

Cons: 1.) Software for the keyboard does need more work and is a bit confusing at first.
2.) Wish they would've kept the usb on the back like the original k70.

2 out of 5 eggsNot happy at all!

Pros: It looks nice, when it works.

Cons: The animation constantly freezes up. Accidentally bump a couple keys at once, it freezes. Playing Far Cry 4 and push 2 or 3 keys at once, it freezes. I have all the newest firmware and software. I recently re-installed Windows. I have uninstalled the keyboard from device manager and re-installed everything in different USB ports and re-installed the software. I've tried ever position on the bios switch and have only found one that will actually work fairly well. Meaning I can us it general purpose and the animation works fine, but eventually playing a game and needing to press multiple keys at once inevitably freezes it up again. This is ridiculous at the price point I paid. If I wanted a statically lit keyboard I would have bough one and saved half the cash.

Other Thoughts: I own a lot of Corsair stuff. Usually its the highest quality. I tend to be fiercely brand loyal and deck my rig out in all same brand parts if I can. My case, my PSU, all my fans, are all Corsair and rock solid. This keyboard while solidly built does not work as advertised. It is defective. I bought it on pre-order because I was so excited about getting one and I never do that kind of thing. But I figured as solid as Corsair was they would have it right, and I was wrong. This will make me question all future Corsair purchases.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard.

Pros: 1: Works immediately out of the box.

2 : Colors look amazing.

3 : The software is pretty easy to learn some nice basic lighting effects with. (Reactive typing, ripple effects, etc.)

4 : Detachable (included) wrist rest.

5 : On-board media keys.

6 : Every key is FULLY programmable. (Including the media keys, and windows lock button)

7: Cheaper than some Dome keyboards (albeit, definitely not cheap)

8 : No top plate for easy key-cap removal and easy clean-up.

9 : Good quality Cherry MX switches. (No Chinese Kailh) Even though Reds wouldn't be my first choice, they still feel nice.

10 : LEDs are very bright.

Cons: 1 : The 16.8 color sticker and selling point is probably not true. The colors on a full spectrum show kind of obvious changing. (Not noticeable unless you get really close.

2 : $170 is pretty steep for a keyboard, but I would say you're really getting what you're paying for. Very high build quality.

Nothing else really. Except for that the software completely blanks out a ripple if the time is lowered, not just finishing that last ripple.

Other Thoughts: There have been quite a few complaints about dead LEDs, which I haven't seen yet, but be wary.

One thing about the software. If keys are set in a group, when you override the color it is. It will blend the 2 colors. But only if it's in agroup.
