3 out of 5 eggsAverage

Pros: Sleek, quiet

Cons: Loss of number pad, Home/Page navigation keys require Fn+Key

Other Thoughts: I have found this keyboard severely inconvenienced me. In order to navigate pages quickly and familiarly, I've always used the home/page up+down keys. On this kb I need to press Fn+Key. I've also lost the number pad and, although I thought having the track pad would be convenient, it is too small to do anything. I do like the look and feel, so if that's all you need, then this is a great keyboard.

4 out of 5 eggsFunctional, but not perfect

Pros: Very impressive looking and has a functional layout, it has everything you need on one box. The range is far superior to the 18 inches you generally get out of Microsoft wireless products. The buttons at the top and for the mouse are like a brushed aluminum, they look more like generic plastic on here. Keyboard works well, but spacebar seems a little iffy.

Cons: The trackpad is EXTREMELY small. I was expecting it to be small but the pictures make it seem larger than it is. I measured it at 1.75" wide by 1.5" tall. I would say it's about half the size of the trackpad on my 15.5" vaio laptop, which has a standard keyboard, a number pad, and a track pad in a smaller amount of space. Going from the far left to the far right on your screen is going to take several swipes, so for anything other than basic HTPC stuff, you're probably going to need to get another mouse anyways.

1 out of 5 eggsA Piece

Pros: It has Great Distance and smooth

Cons: I enjoyed it for my studio but i moved it two 2 PCs and after that the dang thing stopped working. I think after putting over 50 bucks into a keyboard all i got was distance instead quality.

Other Thoughts: Make something worth peoples money if you want to put a good price on it

4 out of 5 eggsgood wireless keybd with range

Pros: nice looking keyboard, great range, integrated trackpad, wireless

Cons: I would like the trackpad to be a little bigger/better. It could also use a couple more direct keys (volume up/down are function keys)

Other Thoughts: I am using this approx 25ft across the living room. It has great line of sight range (only way it has been tested). Beats my MS bluetooth keyboard and separate mouse big time.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for HTPC

Pros: Good wireless range, good touchpad, very portable and responsive.

Has media keys and mutlitouch gestures.

Cons: Awkward layout, feels plasticy.

Other Thoughts: Great for controlling Netflix and Internet TV/Youtube from the couch. Not so great for typing essays at your desk.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Choice for Home Theater PC

Pros: *Trackpad very easy to use, just like a laptop
*Home button starts your default browser
*Back/Forward buttons
*On-Off switch on bottom lets you conserve batteries
- and last but not least-
*Mute button to silence those pesky commercials!

Cons: Trackpad loses some of its sensitivity once in a while

Other Thoughts: I prefer a keyboard and pointing device for operating a HTPC, rather than a TV-style remote control. With this setup, searching the various online-content sites is easy.

I originally used a wireless keyboard and mouse on my HTPC, but that setup was rather awkward. This keyboard/trackpad combo is very well thought out and simple to use. It works so much better, I ordered two more for upcoming HTPC builds.

5 out of 5 eggsrange, range, range

Pros: The range on this thing is awesome. I live in a 3000 sq ft house and this keyboard works just about anywhere in my living room, family room, and kitchen. I haven’t tested it from upstairs but didn’t see a need for it.

Cons: The tracking pad really can be a little bigger but I don’t find it a problem. The size also makes it hard to “hide” it but it looks good so I just leave it out. Be even better if it came with a stand or something.

Other Thoughts: My previous keyboard was good but lacked in range. I wanted to be able to change to the next track of music while eating in my kitchen. This keyboard was advertised to work at 100 feet so I thought I’d give it a try and it delivered. For the range alone I think this keyboard is worth the price.

3 out of 5 eggssolid overall, trackpad a bit awkward

Pros: Keyboard is solid with good feel. Nice all-in-one wireless package. Plugged USB transceiver in and the keyboard and trackpad worked right away with no fuss.

Cons: Trackpad is cramped and not good for heavy "mousing" use. There doesn't seem to be any software to install so customizing the functions keys doesn't seem possible. Without software also means it's not possible to disable trackpad clicking function which I'd like to do as the keyboard is in use with a public AV computer. Trackpad clicking can often be confusing for less savvy users.
