2 out of 5 eggsDecent Purchase

Pros: Nice slim design. Fits in the drawer of my coffee table. Perfect for a media PC connected to a TV. I'm using a Lenovo IdeaCentre Q150 running Ubuntu 11.04 linux. It worked right out of the box including the func+ keys (i.e. volume). The rechargeable battery through the USB wire feature is pretty cool. The keyboard has a small but nice layout.

Cons: The trackball mouse is a little wonky. I think this is a combination of cheap construction and the small size of the ball. Not very good for gaming. I play MineCraft and the left/right butttons on the left is a killer. This keyboard/mouse will by no means replace your fulltime keyboard and mouse. It's great for browsing files, youtube and the internet but I wouldn't want to have to get real work done with it (like playing minecraft).

1 out of 5 eggsScroll function Died after 4 days

Pros: Keys are small, yet i was able to commit the key pattern in a matter of days.

Cons: Scroll function stopped working on 4th day of use. Went to go use it and it would not scroll in one direction. Thought it was the batteries, charged them, installed other batteries, did not solve the proble,

Other Thoughts: Should have read the reviews

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for an entertainment center

Pros: This keyboard works great for what I use it for. I have a computer in the living room hooked to a TV and we watch netflix and other movies on it. The volume hotkeys work well with Windows 7 and the range is good enough for me to control the computer from over 20' away surprisingly enough. The rechargeable function of the keyboard is also quite nice.

Cons: Keys are really small and hard to type on, this is not something that one would want to use for more than basic navigation of a computer.

There is a timeout function on the track ball, my guess is to conserve battery. It can be frustrating, at times you will think that the keyboard is off when really the trackball is just asleep.

The charging light is mostly irrelevant.

If the battery is low or reception is bad, mistyping will happen frequently.

Other Thoughts: Know what you're getting into with this. It isn't a keyboard you want to type a paper on, but it works well as essentially a very large remote control with a lot of functionality.

1 out of 5 eggsDont buy

Pros: Size. Ease of use. Easy connectivity. All in one keyboard and mouse. Mouse buttons on the left side.

Cons: Feel extremely cheap, and most importantly the track ball stopped working in less than 5 months of very light use. It has never been dropped and always sits on my couch. After reading other reviews, it seems to be a common issue. I regret buying this. You'd be better off tossing $50 out the window of a moving vehicle.

Other Thoughts: When I purchased this, there were only a couple reviews for this keyboard and only one complained about the ball not working. I thought maybe it was a fluke thing. Now there are many more on here and on other sites complaining about the same issue.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Small, nice placement of trackball/mouse click buttons make it easy to use, keys feel really nice when typing with good tactile feedback and spacing between keys. Is re-chargeable and comes with 2 re-chargeable batteries.

Cons: Spotty reception, trackball does not work very well.

Other Thoughts: I am using this keyboard from about 10ft from the PC and the signal seems to drop out for a couple of seconds every minute or so. I haven't had any problems typing with it but the trackball will stop working for 1-2 seconds at a time which gets quite annoying. Other than that, it is a nice keyboard with a nice feel to it.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Good

Pros: Compact, pretty, light, worked out-of-box.

Cons: Loses connection randomly but, comes back with on/off switch...

Other Thoughts: I would buy a regular sized wireless keyboard (w/ trackball) if I had the opportunity to change my mind.

2 out of 5 eggsMini Me!

Pros: Awsome range! Clear across 30ft! Combination track ball and mini keyboard makes it perfect for couch surfing on a media PC, cue music, Netflix (Just get it), web video and web surfing.

Cons: Keyboard was made for Mini Me. Really only a few MM too small for the average hand to type properly. It's fine if you poke though. My track ball just stopped working after a couple of months. Took it apart and found the connections were solid and internal components were laid out well to prevent issues from keyboard flexing. Track ball must have blown a fuse or burned out a controller chip. As far as games go, it's ok for casual games. FPS games require greater precision then the track ball offers.

Other Thoughts: Just a keyboard now. I ordered to preview for my shop, but since the mouse died on me and a few other reviewers I can't really suggest this for anyone. I'll check to see if I can RMA, but have my doubts.

2 out of 5 eggsTrackball died

Pros: Perfect size for a home entertainment computer. I am able to use it 10 ft away on my couch without issue. With the trackball on the right and mouse buttons on the left I am able to use my thumbs to type. I is a far cry better than the huge bluetooth keyboard we were using. However please read the cons.

Cons: I bought the keyboard on 1/18/2011 and yesterday 4/1/2011 the trackball quit working. The keyboard worked fine last time we used it and it has been sitting on the entertainment center the whole time so it hasn't been dropped etc. We went to use it yesterday and no trackball. All the other keys work fine on the keyboard even the mouse buttons. Seems to be a common thing with the keyboard from the reviews. I will RMA and try my luck but if you are getting it for the trackball feature I would look elsewhere.
