2 out of 5 eggsNot all keystrokes are shown

Pros: lighted, switchable colors or off (not back light)

Cons: Intermittent failure on keystrokes. I would get several errors when typing due to missed characters while typing.

1 out of 5 eggsLooks nice, works poorly

Pros: Pretty lights, big letters. The big letters are appreciated when hunting 'n' pecking because touch typing is impossible.

Cons: Hard keypress after a few days. All keys are set too far into the case. Space bar and arrow keys especially are bad for touch typing. Impossible to get any speed with this keyboard.

Other Thoughts: Going back to my standard (unlighted) keyboard.

4 out of 5 eggsGood But Noisy

Pros: Well backlit, clear, large letters, easy to read. Choice of three colors of lighting, one will suit you. Long cord. Numerical keyboard included.

Windows keyboard but MAC FRIENDLY, plug in and select keyboard type when prompted (U.S. ASCII I believe), it will do it for you.

Cons: No additional USB ports. Loud keys. Large unit and you can't take off the wrist rest, but not a real problem.

Other Thoughts: A good buy, one of the very few backlit keyboards that are MAC friendly.

5 out of 5 eggsDo you even bling, son?!

Pros: standard layout so easy to use. 3 awesome colors! can turn off lighting if you don't want it. pretty comfortable

Cons: large letters are a bit weird at first but not a big deal. doesn't come with a ps2 / usb converter but no one really needs those now anyway

Other Thoughts: as long as it lasts me a few years, i'll be a happy camper

it'd be nice if it remembered which color you left it on when you shut down instead of reverting back to blue but it will remember if you've left the lighting on or off, which is nice

3 out of 5 eggsNice, but....

Pros: Nice looking and functions.

Cons: Great looking keyboard, but for a touch typist, like me, you'd better put some punch behind those key presses!
I'm back with my Microsoft Sidewinder keyboard.
When using the Azio, too may key presses didn't register and it was drving me crazy! Think I'll give it to my mother-in-law. She can't type, hunt and peck...
Perfect for her.

Other Thoughts: For 20 bucks, a great deal. Multi-media functions and other stuff. Nice colors.
REALLY bad for a typist unless you hammer the keys down.
I learned to type on a manual typewriter many years ago, so I hit the keys pretty hard, but apparently not hard enough for this keyboard.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat lighting, not so great keys

Pros: Very readable lighting, normal keyboard layout, solid feel, clean styling.

Cons: Keys need direct downward strikes. If you lean to one side or sit back in your chair your strikes will be angled and the keys may stick. Num Lock/Caps Lock LED's are recessed too deep to be easily seen.

Other Thoughts: Don't know why they say "Ergonomic" in description, keyboard is standard rectangle shape with a flat top (which is what I prefer). To turn off keyboard light, hold down LED Illumination key (just above 10-key pad).

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Nice looking, lightweight. LED colors are bright.

Cons: LED's quit working after about two months. Keys stick and require more pressure than most other KB.

Other Thoughts: I bought this because I'm vision impaired and liked the look. Two months later it's a POC. I'm not a gamer or heavy KB user but I DO require the keys to be visible and large print. This goes in my junk pile. Don't waste your $$.

3 out of 5 eggsbudget illuminated keyboard

Pros: 1. Has Blue, Red, or Purple backlighting, there is a button on the top right hand corner.
2. Dedicated keys: Email, Home page, Favorites, multimedia, volume, mute, music player, My computer and calculator.
3. Not heavy, not easy to tangle wire.
4. Large print and Function keys are separated.

Cons: 1. Loud typing, it's louder than stock dell keyboards at my college computer lab.
2. Hard to press keys, all the keys require what feels like more force than average to type with.
3.Sticky keys, keys might stick if you don't press the center of it. It occasionally stuck when pressed at an angle.
4. Rubber feet doesn't work well.
5. Can't turn off illumination when not needed.

Other Thoughts: Another thing I didn't like is the palm rest, I didn't list it as a con because others might like it.
Overall this keyboard's main positive is the back lighting, other than that it's a below average keyboard.
It feels like a hard to press utilitarian keyboard, if dell had budget illuminated keyboards, I would get that instead.
This is good for dark rooms but usually this is useful at night, but it is also loud, so there is a problem there.
My conclusion is that this is an okay backup illuminated keyboard.

2 out of 5 eggsSticking keys

Pros: The large print and back lighting is nice.

Cons: The keys are sticking, especially the space bar on the right side of the bar. If I press the space bar with my right thumb it is not recognizing the action. Other keys such as the A, T, O, P keys stick if not pressed with extra applied pressure. I use the keyboard for work purposes and I do not have the time to make sure I am striking the key and a 90 degree angle and if I try to type by stroking the edge of those before mentioned keys, they stick and do not respond.

Other Thoughts: I expected a better construction of the keyboard to prevent the issues I am experiencing and I rated it as 2 eggs because I feel like I got great looks but cheap manufacturing.
