2 out of 5 eggsStop working within half a year

Pros: Nothing. Just a normal keyboard.

Cons: All the numkeys above the qwerty keys just stop working and some qwerty keys stop working once in a while.

4 out of 5 eggsA decent, cheap illuminated keyboard

Pros: Cheap. Good back-lighting.

Cons: Keys are a bit unusual, take some getting used to.

Other Thoughts: I recently purchased this keyboard because my kid has broken several expensive mechanical back-lit keyboards gaming on my rig and I wanted something cheap in case she breaks one again.

I have only owned it a few days, but my sense so far is that you get what you pay for with this thing. It's a plastic membrane keyboard of moderate build quality.

The one and only special trait it has is that it has good backlighting that can be adjusted to three colors.

It also has very large lettering on the keys, which may be useful for people with diminished vision.

On the issue of typing, it does feel a bit odd when you begin to use this compared to a traditional keyboard. The keys are larger in size it seems and here is less space between the keys to make up for it and maintain some semblance of the traditional size.

But, contrary to some reviews here, my keyboard does not have hard keys. In fact, just the opposite is true: it has very soft and somewhat smushy keys that take some getting used to when typing.

All in all, I would recommend given the range of $30 or so it retails for. Just don't expect it to type any better than a standard HP or Lenovo keyboard.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Keyboard, just what I wanted

Pros: Wanted an illuminated keyboard and am very happy with this one. Has a nice feel and have no issues with the way the key touch is. Has a nice easy touch feel, nothing hard or sticky as others report. Is almost full size with big letters which I like, not one of the small flat type keyboards many are moving to. Illumination is perfect not too bright or too dim. Price was great, got it for less than 20 bucks.

Plug and Play and it works like magic with Linux. Actually like it better and it is larger than my OEM Dell keyboard that didn't light up.

Cons: It's light and slid around too easy because one of the hard rubber feet was missing. This is the only reason 4 giving it 4 eggs. Since I liked it I just cut up 3 little softer rubber foot pieces and applied a drop of crazy glue and solved the slipping issue and having to RMA it!

Other Thoughts: Very happy with it so far. Seems like a solidly made keyboard.

1 out of 5 eggsSave your money

Pros: It's a keyboard

Cons: The characters are stenciled on the top of the clear plastic keys with a cheap coating that begins wearing off within weeks of usage, and the commonly used keys are completely smudged as to be unreadable after a period of six months. The only reason for buying a backlit keyboard is to facilitate 'hunt and peck' typing. If the keys are illegible, it defeats the purpose. Save your money if that is why you are buying a new keyboard.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic!

Pros: Not experiencing any sticky keys as others have. Decent, heavy, quality feeling keyboard with a good feel. Back lights are great. Not overwhelmingly bright or too dim, in my opinion. Very satisfied. Fantastic value for the price.

Cons: none

4 out of 5 eggsgood keyboard

Pros: just got this today and pleased with it. picked it up on sale for less than $20.

not the greatest tactile keys or softest touch but it is decent and I am a picky person. illumination is perfect not too bright or shiny

a good bang for the buck keyboard. don't think this is intended for data entry work but it's great for a teenage gamer who is not yet picky

can't go wrong for the price.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: azio is a good brand.

3 out of 5 eggsCheap Backlit Keyboard

Pros: Good backlight options. Cheap price.

Cons: Keys aren't for a light typer. Must press firmly, or risk missing letters.

Other Thoughts: I love not having to turn on a light late at night to see what I'm typing, but if I'm not deliberate about my key presses, sometimes there are letters missing.

3 out of 5 eggsAdequate Keyboard

Pros: Feels like a good quality keyboard at first impression.

Cons: After using for a few weeks: only liked the blue color keys, keys are set too far into the case, feel flat and lack the separation of a really good keyboard. Keys were too awkward to use for gaming. Often had to mentally detach from the game to confirm the right key.

Other Thoughts: For sale on Am*z*n every day direct from Azio for $19.95 with free shipping.
