4 out of 5 eggsNice for the $$

Pros: BIG letters that light up. What more could you ask for the money.

Cons: Not a high end looking keyboard, but it works.

Other Thoughts: This really is a great keyboard for the money. Letters are really huge and the backlight is just great and easy on the eyes. Got it for a steal but not at newegg this time.

5 out of 5 eggsLOVE this keyboard - have 3 of them

Pros: I love this keyboard because I can use it in low light conditions, work with the room lights turned off, and easily see the large print keys. I use keyboards so much (all day most days all year) that the numbers and letters wear off regular keyboards. On this keyboard there is more letter so it takes much longer. Eventually some keys have more light and aren't quite as readable, but that takes a long time.

Cons: One new keyboard was so stiff the keys didn't work. Because I promote this keyboard online in blog posts and social media and I really needed it, the manufacturer immediately sent a replacement. By the time it arrived, the original keyboard quit failing. So if you get one with very stiff keys try using them to free them up. Over time the light dims (of course), but so far I've never had the light quit working even on the oldest keyboard which is probably 3 years old now.

Other Thoughts: NOTE: You CAN turn the lights off completely by holding down the LED illumination button (top right corner) for THREE SECONDS. The manufacturer was planning on coming out with a wireless version, so if you prefer wireless you might do a search to see if they are available yet.

I wasn't sure I would like this keyboard based on reviews available online. The feel is similar to older original keyboards. Some reviewers said it was slow, but I type fast (though not as fast as some) and have never had an issue with it not keeping up. I much prefer it to the new laptop type keyboards - so much so that I have one of these keyboards on both desktops and plugged into my laptop. I don't use any other keyboards any more. I work full time as a writer, blogger and social media manager so my keyboards get a ton of use.

3 out of 5 eggsUpdate, and comment on sketchy "reviews"

Pros: After 5 months it still works. Used mostly to surf Internet, email, stream videos, etc, not activities that involve much typing but often in the evening when the lighted keys are very helpful.

Cons: The lettering on some of the most-used keys (E, I, L, N) is going bad. The keys seem to be clear plastic, painted black with the lettering masked so the light shines through it. Trouble is, the paint is flaking off around the lettering. "I" now looks like "Y" and so on. May try repainting them when they get totally unreadable.

Other Thoughts: If Azio wants to post here, that's fine, but they should be upfront and identify themselves. Pretending to be consumers just makes the company look dishonest:

5 out of 5 eggsEXCELLENT KEYBOARD!!

Pros: This keyboard is truly the perfect product for the quick typist. The keys are very responsive and provides fluid typing. The illumination is truly a treat, providing very vibrant and visible illuminated color choices (I'm tickled purple!). The red and blue are intense, while the purple is slightly less intense.

One thing to note: The keyboard I originally bought had a very hard key press; my co-workers thought I was upset because I had to strike the keys so hard in order for the keys to respond. I contacted Azio directly and was advised a large batch of this keyboard model were defective from the manufacturer (the keys were a few millimeters off, causing unnecessary friction). My keyboard was QC'd 3/2014. If you are experiencing this kind of issue, contact Azio via email at support@aziocorp.com or call 866-468-1198 and they will instruct you to return your product (after showing proof of purchase via invoice or receipt) and they will promptly replace your keyboard. Dave was who helped me and he remained in constant contact. It was a very pleasant and quick process. It's definitely worth it to get it replaced!

Upon receiving the new keyboard (QC'd 8/2014), my expectations were exceeded with how fluid and responsive the typing is. This is by far the best keyboard I've ever had! Thank you, Azio!!

Cons: Possibility of receiving a defective keyboard that causes a very hard key press due to a manufacturer defect, however easy process w/ Azio to get it replaced. Please see note above :-)

4 out of 5 eggsIt's OK

Pros: The letters on the keys are BIG! If you have trouble reading the letters on your keyboard, this thing is great. Even with the backlight off, they are still very visible during the day. At night they light up great! Bright, but not too bright

Cons: I went from a 1980's IBM keyboard, to a Logitech gaming keyboard to this. Nothing can beat the IBM for typing, but there are no media or windows keys on it. This keyboard is taking some getting used to. The key throws are different and the width of the keys is bigger so I double-key often.

Other Thoughts: For twenty bucks it is a great keyboard. Not the best for a lot of typing, but definitely good for surfing or FBing at night.

Operationally, I would give it three stars because of all the double keying and backspacing I have to do for now, but I am adding a star because it is a good looking keyboard, Especially with the blue backlighting,

1 out of 5 eggs3 month then flicker

Pros: Until the illumination started to malfunction this was a nice keyboard for persons not doing heavy typing. Keys can be mushy but usable as long as you are not a proud speed typist.

Cons: Illumination control no longer works, I cannot shut off LEDs or change the color.. Keyboard flickers like a Christmas ornament.

Other Thoughts: Good initial prices but after three months I will look to replace.

2 out of 5 eggsLong key press

Pros: Appearance, price, extra keys.

Cons: sloppy action. Does not remember color choice. High profile.

Other Thoughts: This keyboard has a lot going for it and would be an excellent choice, except that the key press is very long. The action becomes very tedious and I find myself committing many errors, even after two weeks of acclamation.

Also, the board sits too high on the desk. I usually use the elevation feet in the rear, but on this board I had to disable them. I've also played with using a wrist rest, which helped but which is inconvenient.

I wouldn't buy again, because the negatives are very fundamental.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard

Pros: Looks great on my desk and very easy to see the keys.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these so my wife and I would have the same hardware. It doesn't remember the light setting after reboot but we both really enjoy the default blue. We would set it to blue if it defaulted to anything else.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks very nicely

Pros: BIG letters are great for people that have trouble seeing too well.
The lights are not too bright and not too dim.
Calculator button is pretty handy.

Cons: The keys are pretty soft for me but most people probably wouldn't mind.

Other Thoughts: If you know someone who can't see well, uses their keyboard in the dark and doesn't game competitively, this KB is great.
