1 out of 5 eggsRegret

Pros: It was cheap.

It was loud and had decent tactile feedback.

Feels sturdy and heavy.

Cons: Control key gave out after around two months of use.

Did not work with Ubuntu or any other form of Linux, I feel like this should be specified somewhere on here, so it's partly Newegg's fault.

No specification of switches, look like alps but I'm not quite sure what type.

Lights on Num Lock and Caps lock bar/indicator fail or begin to fade in a very short amount of time.

Other Thoughts: You can get a much better keyboard for this price. Stay away from Levetron.

4 out of 5 eggsGood keyboard, but DOES NOT WORK WITH LINUX!!!

Pros: Price is good for a mechanical, it has nice feel once you get used to the rubberized keys. Great for gaming.

Cons: Does NOT work with Linux. I feel that this should be displayed prominently in the description.

Other Thoughts: I tested this kb with standard Ubuntu and also Mint (on my laptop). It does not work with either. It uses a chipset for handling the antighosting/NKRO features over USB which is not currently supported in Linux. Bummer. I ended up hooking it up to my Windows machine. I really wanted it for my linux workstation.

3 out of 5 eggsGood keyboard for the price but beaware

Pros: -Mechanical keys
-clicking sound
-good response time
-up to 18 keys rollover
-price is good.
-simple and lighter than other mechanical keyboards
-tactile feedback keys
-a subset of keys are red and rubberized
-works flawless once in windows.

Cons: - 100% incompatible with Linux (if you are planning to use it with any Linux, please look for something else) and also read that it incompatible with mac as well, but cannot confirm.
- no replacement set of keys regular black for red keys.
- can be non-working in bios for some models of motherboard (specifically MSI)

Other Thoughts: - It would have been good if the manufacturers have provided drivers for nkro chip keyboard for Linux.
- I would have happily paid $5 extra for spare set of regular black keys.

5 out of 5 eggsMusic to the Ears

Pros: - Mechanical keyboard (Each press you make gives you the best feedback).
- The sound is like music to my ears.
- Good for gaming (wasd keys have a nice orange grip and it feels wonderful).
- Simple (The design is simple and clean).

Cons: - Loud (This is not an issue for me, but be aware of the people around you)

Other Thoughts: This probably a product that only a certain crowd of people might appreciate. I am computer technician and programmer and mechanical keyboards are just my preference.

2 out of 5 eggsNot worth the price tag

Pros: Still looking for one
Not realy a pros or con this keyboard is equiped with ALPS White Knock-off. They do work well but because of the build quality they are loud.

Cons: Expensive (for the feature)
Low build quality (compered to other mechanical)
Loud compared to Cherry MX bleue Kb
Bad layout with reverse L shape enter key
"wasd" and arrows rubberized key but that is personal
No feature at all not even media key.

Other Thoughts: This is my third mechanical keyboard I got it in special for 40$ and even at that price I would not recomend this keyboard. there is a lot of closed price Kb arround that is far better than this. Razer black widow or a roswel if you can find them in special would be worth the differance in price.
the only persone that would recommended this keyboard never owned a other mechanical keyboard before this. In this price range I would buy a BlackWidow or a CM Storm QuickFire

5 out of 5 eggsGood Inexpensive Keyboard

Pros: -Very nice typing feel. Tactile feedback w/ what is apparently Simplfied White Alps switches.
-Can withstand my 120 actions per minute in SC2.
-Inexpensive coming in at $50-$60.
-Long Ctrl key.

Cons: -Not a fan of the long vertical enter key style.
-The keyboard is a bit high up, so a bit uncomfortable on the wrists.
-I don't really like the rubberized keys (but no biggie at all - it doesn't affect my typing speed).

Other Thoughts: Overall, an excellent keyboard considering it's price. I HAVE read about the key switches on this keyboard being 'fake,' but to me it doesn't really matter. They feel great, and that's what I care about.

5 out of 5 eggsAlps knock-off is still GOOD.

Pros: This thing feels fantastic. it feels very much like alps white, or cherry blue. Although they ARE knock-off Alps, they ARE still mechanical keyswitches, and are compatible with ALPS keycaps. it's easily one of the cheapest Mechanical keyboards, especially for not being a Tenkeyless. The orange rubber keys are very distinct, their shape and texture makes them stand out, and grip REALLY well even with sweaty fingers. But the difference isn't prominent enough to impede typing ability at all, it still feels fantastic.

The cord is nice and long, the 6KRO is good enough for most, and the 20 million keystroke lifespan is infinitely better than a rubber membrane board. build quality is pretty nice.

I love this board.

Cons: There are no media controls. This thing could REALLY benefit from something simple like that, even if it was just some bundled keybinding software.

STUPID friggin 105-key ISO layout, with the huge top-heavy enter key.. I am not a fan of that at all.

Could have used a wrist rest, but meh!

Aside from that, I'm impressed.

Other Thoughts: Don't listen to "N/A", the guy that gave this thing 2 stars.
This IS a mechanical keyboard, even if the switches are Offbrand.
They're APC BSW 055WH switches, which are modeled after Simplified Alps whites, so far as I know.
It IS a mechanical keyboard, even if it's not using brand-name switches.

20 million keystrokes is pretty standard for a mechanical keyboard. Cherry switches are rated for 20 or 50 million, depending where you read it.

For the price, this thing is fantastic. It's tactile, clicky, Standard mechanical keyboard lifespan.

Bottom line, it's a genuine Mechanical Keyboard, for less than the price of most tenkeyless boards. If additional custom keycaps isn't a BIG deal for you, then this is an excellent option.

2 out of 5 eggsKnock-Off

Pros: Cheap intro "mechanical" keyboard
Easy for a wanna be gamer to get and brag about

Cons: Contrary to what other reviewers have said these keyboards actually use a fake switch which looks like an Alps switch but is a knock-off
They are not even close to Cherry MX, and aren't Alps, seeing as how they're only rated for 20mil keystrokes
A quick Google search of the switch product number will tell you everything

As much as they market it as a "clicker mechanical" you can't get over the fact it's a knock off

Not only that, but Azio just rebranded a keyboard you can find on the "electronic bay" for cheaper

Other Thoughts: Don't be fooled, it's not a true mechanical keyboard and it's not worth your money
If you're looking for a cheap mechanical keyboard go for the Rosewill or the CM Quickfire
