Pros: Dual input, slick design, biggest diagonal for standard screens.
Have it more that an year and I am very satisfied with it.

5 out of 5 eggsAffordable 1600x1200 LCD

Pros: Good monitor overall, very adjustable, and has a portrait mode. Works great for gaming.

Cons: Veritical view angle isn't too great, but with the adjustability of this monitor, it's only a problem for people looking over your shoulder.

Other Thoughts: I like the swivel base and it comes with a DVI cable.

5 out of 5 eggsNice monitor

Pros: Great looking image quality when hooked up via DVI.Lot of real estate.Great with gaming and browsing.Text looks good.Good adjustments for height and pivot. No dead pixels.Good monitor for the price.

Cons: First monitor I recieved would only work in analog.Had to RMA to samsung which they sent me a new 1 and I sent back the old after recieving the new.Took them about 2 weeks. Not neweggs fault.

Other Thoughts: View angle could be a little higher but not a problem with the adjustable height and pivot.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat LCD Monitor

Pros: Simply great screen. No dead pixels. Adjustable hight and 90 deg. rotation.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have been using this screen every day for more than a 1-year for gaming and work. It's one of the best screens in that price range. I did take this screen to my office and bought another Samsung, Widescreen 22" model 226BW as a replacement for my home rig.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor

Pros: Excellent Picture. I run everything @1600x1200 and I am very impressed. I havn't noticed any blury images/gfx hicups on this monitor(@ native res). No dead pixels on arrival.
Stand set up is very nice.
Monitor pivots so that it stands vertically; however, screen doesn't change to show a "portrait" picture instead of a "landscape" picture.

Cons: I havn't spent over $180 on a monitor b4, so this was quite an investment for me. However, after paying out the initial $300, I am completely hooked.
The UPS shipping box was quite crushed when it arrived; however, everything worked fine(not neweggs fault).

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this monitor to anyone. The native 1600x1200 resolution in an incredible jump from the 1280x1020 res I was using. I have heard some bad things about the customer support samsung has, so I really hope I never have to go that route.
After doing a little looking around, this monitor was one of the cheapest with its resolution. Price/Performance is absolutely great.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: HUGE. Came with 0 dead pixels. 1600x1200 is awesome, makes games very pretty. Monitor itself is visually appealing. Stand is awesome, swivel base and rotates for landscape/portrait modes. Feels sturdy too. Buttons are well-placed and out of the way. Blue LED is attractive in it's application. This monitor is very bright. Easy brightness control thingy is handy. The monitor scales between resolutions fairly well, and it's of course a 4:3 aspect ratio so it will scale better than ANY 5:4 monitor. Colors are nice, as good as any CRT I've seen.

Cons: Included DVI cable is single-link. Nothing critical but I'll probably get a dual-link one here in a while. Ever so slight amount of bleeding from the cold cathode on top on mine. Viewing angle is not perfect, but still far from horrible.

Other Thoughts: This monitor is for gamers, word processors, and MySpace connoisseurs. Don't buy this for high-precision Photoshop type stuff. The colors and contrast is good enough for anyone dabbling or a light PS user, but not for someone who goes professional to the point of matching their monitor's colors to their printer's colors. This monitor does not flicker, you may have read about the 204B firmware error that made DVI @ 1600x1200 flicker on and off. This has been corrected on every monitor made since January 07, so don't worry about that. I think this is an amazing buy, but for PS pros, buy a real photo-editing monitor for what they cost instead of this, you can't get what you will want in this price range. I think this monitor is awesome and love it to death, but this isn't for someone who utilizes PS a lot.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor

Pros: Had this monitor for about a week, the resolution available for this screen size & price is incredible. Plays games very well (FEAR is actually scary). I run two of these at once, and the thin size of the frame makes them blend together very well.

Cons: Same as everyone else has said, viewing angle. I use these primarly for programming, and when they are in vertical mode i can see a lot of code on screen, but the top edges can take on a little bit of a silver sheen. Its nothing that is very bothersome, but it does exist.

Other Thoughts: Its hard to find 20" monitors that have 1200x1600 resolution for this price. And that fact alone makes this monitor great! The silver is also very nice looking.

3 out of 5 eggsDisappointing

Pros: Quite large, with lots of pixels. Attractive. No dead pixels. Fairly bright.

Cons: Monitor has an overall silvery cast. Fine gradations of color hard to see. Adjustments are awkward to make and do not help much. White does not really look white -- it looks more like a pale silver.

Other Thoughts: 20-inch monitors are all 1600x1200. This sounds good, but is too fine a resolution for standard fonts. Save your money and get a really nice 19-inch monitor like the 931c -- which has far better color rendition.
