5 out of 5 eggsPretty

Pros: Extremely pretty, excellent picture for HD channels and solidly built. Even the remote is solid. Worth the money because its a TV/Monitor combo.

Cons: Rear power cable connector is a bit loose.

Other Thoughts: Samsung is awesome! It cuts off a bit on the HD channels, but all you have to do is change the size of the screen and it all fits.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great design (looks great next to a Playstation 3), Fits on most desks easily, Almost every A/V input, Not painfully bright like some other LCDs.

Cons: 1080p signals are cut off slightly when full screen. Analog TV looks horrible, but nobody would buy it for that anyway.

Other Thoughts: While it is still kind of expensive, this monitor does just about anything you want it to.

5 out of 5 eggsUpdate

Pros: This is an update from my previous post, the tv side is awesome as well. It picks up local HD/Digital signals without any antenna attached to it.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Just a little hint for those who purchast this. Install the driver for the monitor, because without it the Picture In Picture (PIP) will not function correctly without it.

Pros: This monitor/tv is awesome, I ordered it yesterday and received it today. NOW that's what I call SPEEDY Delivery.
There are no dead pixels any where, I didn't have any trouble going from my DELL 17". I will write again when I check out the tv part. CHEERS to NEWEGG for fast delivery!!! Keep up the good work guys.

Cons: ABSOLUTELY NONE

5 out of 5 eggsBest Monitor EVER!!!

Pros: Perfect monitor if you want to run both your PC and TV/HDTV in one neat package. With the ability to run PIP, you can watch movies and TV while working on your PC, perfect for multitaskers and couch potatoes alike. My old 15" wide screen looks like a postage stamp next to this bad boy.

The remote is a godsend, took a couple to learn it, once that was done I now have no need to even touch the monitor, all the better to keep it nice and shiny.

I'm a bit of a Samsung fanboy as far as monitors go, I've owned 4 including this one and I have yet to receive a defective monitor from them. The other three have been found good homes

Cons: Wish it came with a DVI and HDMI cables instead of VGA.

Other Thoughts: I can't wait to finally build my new rig so I can take better advantage of this monitor's capabilities. It's currently hooked up to a 3 and 1/2 year old P4 machine, which all said and done, does ok as long as it's set at max resolution.

Big props to NewEgg for the quick service.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it!

Pros: Looks beautiful. I love the touch buttons they are fantastic, but they are a little bit sensitive and a little bit hard to read. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a tv/monitor in their room or office.

Cons: A little bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Looks a little bit blurry when playing with my Wii. I have changed the settings on both the Wii and the monitor.

Other Thoughts: I cant go back to anything less then 22 inches.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Overall

Pros: Not bad price range for a HD flat panel TV/Monitor. Supports a range of common inputs. Plus PIP is great when on the computer. Also supports down to older 640x480 VGA graphic resolution if you have older computers. Not too many flat screens have this feature.

Cons: Remote feels cheap, backwards heavy. The buttons on the bottom of the monitor could be illuminated so you could see them.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this as my main computer monitor. You will definitely notice a big difference between analog and digital signals on HD monitors. Analog type inputs have a more grainy screen than their digital counterparts. If you have a DVI output from your computer. Use it. Picture quality is a lot crispier with better dark hues than the VGA input.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Picture quality and color rendition are superb. The brightness is pretty amazing - I am using a dual monitor setup with a Macbook Pro and the Samsung blows away the Macbook Pro's LCD by far when in Entertainment mode. In Text/Internet mode, it is about the same, but using the monitor in Entertainment mode for reading text is too bright for the eyes to give you an idea (brilliant for media though). The PIP modes are very useful - you can overlay any input source in any of the four corners, do split screen, etc. Best yet, you can set the PIP to be translucent so you can still see whatever you want behind it. It's nice to work and be able to watch a movie at the same time. The bezel and stand, despite the photos here, are a beautiful glossy black.

Cons: Quite a delay after hitting a channel until it actually changes. The touch buttons on the monitor are almost too sensitive - there's no way to clean it without unplugging it or else you will be toggling the buttons with the SLIGHTEST touch. Regular cable looks truly disgusting. I hardly watch TV, so I haven't upgraded to digital cable yet, so I can't say if that would look better or not. But what I do know is that cable looks better on my six-year-old tube.

Other Thoughts: I don't think the volume is as much of a problem as other people are saying. If you are using a 22" monitor for movies or TV in anything bigger than a bedroom or office, what's wrong with you? Besides, it has optical out - use your home theater, it's 2008, you know you have one.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great So Far

Pros: This monitor looks great. We got it for my boss, who ends up working late nights and weekends. He loves the screen as a monitor, and the HDTV is the ultimate bonus. Once visitors spy the HDTVa antenna in the corner of his office, it's instant show-off time!

Cons: none yet.

5 out of 5 eggsWow!

Pros: This monitor performs brilliantly as a pc monitor. Using DVI link the image quality is awesome. Theres are always complaints about light bleed, but it is minimal if noticeable. If you need and input and can;t find it here (provided its not already being used) your lost....

Cons: Image quality at 1080p from my xbox 360 is not as expected...though I would say its the xbox and not the monitor... the speakers are nice, but underpowered at best...standard tv is ok in 4:3, but best used in the PiP function...

Other Thoughts: Despite a few flaws this set works and looks absolutely beautiful...
