Pros: The clarity on this monitor compared to my inexpensive 19" MAG CRT that I previously owned is unbelievable. Crisp and bright - the 1000:1 contrast is fantastic. The minimal piano black bezel gives the screen an ultra-high quality look. Absolutely satisfied with my purchase. Samsung's panels are unrivaled. At this price for a 22", you can't find a better monitor.

Cons: It was so bright I had to dial it back quite a bit from the factory settings. It was like staring into the sun at first! Speakers are just passable sound quality, but I don't use them anyway as I have my regular external speaker system for that.

Other Thoughts: The decision to go with a 22" over any other size was completely confirmed for me, as it's truly the sweet spot for gaming with the 1680x1050 native resolution showcasing an excellent picture quality in the latest games (Crysis, Unreal Tournament 3, Call of Duty 4, etc.) and still allowing for oustanding performance. Anything smaller (20" or less) wouldn't have been enough to warrant the upgrade, and anything bigger (24" or larger) requires a rig with expensive and unrealistic specs to achieve acceptable frame rates at such high native resolutions. 22" is where it's at. No question.

Pros: Excellent price for a 22" Samsung. I got it for cheaper on black friday but this is still a good deal. Im coming from a 19" Dell Ultrasharp and this thing blows it out the water, the colors are so vivid. People say the speakers arent that good, i dont know because i dont even have them plugged in, i have a speaker system foy my sound.

Cons: There is MINOR light bleeding which you can barely tell. No height adjustment. The only real con about this monitor is no HDCP support.

Pros: overall this monitor is beautifull, I dont know a great deal about them but I recieved it in great shape the tilt angle is great for any way you want to look at it. My main use for it is gaming and wow what a difference a 22in is compared to a 15in laptop.

Cons: Only con i can think of is maybe it could use a swivel in the bottom, some people may prefer that but i really dont think it makes any difference. Speakers arent the greatest either but if you are planning on using only the speakers on the monitor you either dont care about sound quality or dont know enough about audio.

Other Thoughts: Thoroughly satisfied with this monitor, be warned...going from a wide screen back to a regular screen may cause you to squint at the smaller screen and think how you could live with out a wide screen!

Pros: no locked pixels...awesome screen size. Im not very technical, but it is light, and easy to setup. Price was great, First time ordering from Newegg, and Im making them my "go-to" company.

It's just meh...

Pros: The monitor looks bigger in real life, It is nice and thin, Looks sleek and cool, and is super easy to set up. It's Perfect for gaming, and the price is fair.

Cons: I was not very impressed. In fact a little bit dissapointed after hearing all the rave reviews it was getting. And knowing Samsung is famous for good quality.

I first off noticed that against white it has a very noticable blue-ish hue. I found this stange.

Secondly, I noticed that the colors kind of suck when not gaming. It seems as if alot of my pictures are white washed. All colors seems dull and not vibrant enough. I changed brightness and gamma, but still cant make it look that much better.

Thirdly, When against black, you can very visibly see white at the top and bottoms of the screen.

Finally, the stand is VERY wobbly and seems unstable. a slight shake of the desk and the monitor sways back and forth.

Other Thoughts: You pay for what you get I guess. I should of figured the price was too good to be true. This is still a huge upgrade from a non-widescreen. And while gaming its an amazing monitor. It's while your not that you will notice its imperfections.
