Samsung designers have fused a clear-as-glass plastic with an opaque, rose-black plastic, to create something completely new in the monitor industry, the Samsung T260 widescreen LCD monitor. Luxurious glass-like frames with gracefully sculpted edges join with rose-black bezels to give a soft hint of rich red. The result is an elegant monitor that feels more like handcrafted artwork than a high-performance office tool. The stunning Samsung Touch of Color widescreen LCD monitors. The fusion of high technology and high style.

With Samsung, it's not hard to imagine.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great on my ancient Mac G4 AGP

Pros: Consistent across the panel from moderate viewing angles. Strikingly sharp picture. Plenty of adjustment between monitor adjustments and OS control panel adjustments. Monitor works great on my 10 year old G4 Mac AGP with a processor upgrade and Tiger. Only needed to add a Geforce 6200 AGP video card. You can put four pages across the screen with barely any overlap! It even sleeps properly. Works OK with DVD's for movies. Large size is great, you almost feel like you can jump in.

Cons: Base seems really flimsy and shaky when you set it up, but once you put it on your desk, it's fine. Sits a little lower than my other monitors, but tilts to adjust, so it's O.K..

Other Thoughts: Monitor is black and rose colored. The rose is very dark and blends into the black, and hardly noticeable. I like the effect. Depending on lighting conditions, it sometimes appears only black. Very glossy finish, but rich looking, not cheap.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Replacement/Upgrade

Pros: Awesome picture. The brightness and colors are out of this world. Has the most used inputs around.

Cons: Touch of color is exagerated in the pictures you see everywhere. Mine does not have a glowing red border or frame anywhere. Came with 1 dark pixel. The viewing angle is not as good as my older Samsung.

Other Thoughts: This replaced a 214T purchased here at Newegg. I did not get the extended warranty offered by Samsung just before my warranty expired and repairing it would cost as much as this T260. Overall, great monitor. If anyone is upgrading from an old 4:3 ratio monitor and don't know what size to get, multiply your viewable vertical measurement by 2 and it gives you the diagonal of the widescreen monitor to get.

5 out of 5 eggsBig!

Pros: I replaced a 220WM with this and the difference is amazing. It was far better than what I was expecting. I still get extremly sharp text even tho the monitor carries a resolution of most 24"s. It does have bleed thru at the top and bottom, but what monitor doesn't? Need to get an LED monitor to eliminate that.

Cons: Still not a big fan of the power button. Can't see it in the dark, and it's not raised so no tactile feedback, just have to slowly move your finger along till it turns on. A slight bump would have been nice. More responsive than the T240 tho :)

Other Thoughts: The TOC is nice, the color adds a nice profile to the screen, mine came without any dead pixels which is always good. Well worth the cost.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat monitor

Pros: big, vibrant colors, works as it should

Cons: stand has limited adjustability, took a long time to get it to look right.

Other Thoughts: Don't be shy about turning the contrast down. When I first set it up it was unbelievably bright and, as some other reviewers have mentioned, the colors looked very washed out. I tried all kinds of color adjustments to no avail, finally I just cranked the contrast down to 50% and now it looks fantastic- great, rich color saturation that blows my old 21 inch monitor completely out of the water.

5 out of 5 eggsPure Bliss

Pros: This monitor is amazing. Its great looking, has very fast response time, and has a very finished look that most monitors don't have anymore. The HD quality is superior to similar size/spec monitors I've seen, and looks fantastic on movies, games, etc.

Cons: No real height/tilt adjustment. If you need that, I'd suggest investing in a mounting arm that is adjustable. The back panel cover doesn't have a lot of strength to it and tends to just get in the way - I don't use it for this reason. The auto - scan starts with analog and works its way to Digital slowly. When rebooting my PC, I miss the initial splash screen unless I manually switch inputs quick enough, which makes BIOS changes/updates annoying for me.

5 out of 5 eggsWow. Just.... wow.

Pros: Everything. 1920x1200, sharpest detail of any screen I've ever used. Attractive bezel, HDMI w/ optical audio output & 2 port USB hub built in. Doesn't suffer from lower refresh rate found on most 26"+ screens.

Cons: USB ports on back of screen, so not very good for quick device switches. Also had to remove the top shelves of my desk to make this screen fit.

Other Thoughts: Would've rather gotten the T260HD, but at the time I ordered this the HD was out of stock for another month. That aside, still an amazing screen that runs any application in beautiful detail.

5 out of 5 eggsSamsung 26" Monitor - Get one or a few!

Pros: Beautiful monitor and the graphics are outstanding. The other architects in the office have been drooling.

Cons: Uhhhhh....none. Seriously.

Other Thoughts: Get one. I've bought three since I use double screens at home and at my arch & engr. office.
