Pros: first off the cabinet looks great, it will fit right in with just about any entertainment center. plenty of inputs and features. excellent picture quality, bright vibrant colors, great contrast, even with standard def programming. very low glare on the screen. high def programming is superb! just blows my mind to be an LCD display. remote has large highly visible buttons for those of us with poor eyesight. quick source changing with either the remote or using the dedicated button on the display. love the hidden HDMI and headphone port behind the trap door on the side. includes power saving options in menus. light weight for easy transport. setup takes less than 10 minutes. includes a cleaning cloth :)
Cons: only thing that i could ask for is a mounting option and/or more freedom of motion in the stand (only tilts backward about 40 degrees). also the speakers are not very loud, there are lots of sound adjustments that can be made in the menu (equalizer) though. i would suggest using an alternate sound system. i did find 3 or 4 dead pixels but it is only noticeable if you're within 6 inches of the screen and it is a blank (black) screen.
Other Thoughts: i have my Xbox 360 connected to the component inputs which DOES support 1080p. this was not clearly stated in the description. just thought id clear that up. if your on a budget and your picky about quality then this is for you.

Poor design lacks a standard feature

Pros: Until now, I couldn't even imagine having a gripe about Samsung. They usually produce excellent if not superior products. However, the H220HD falls short. It probably has a superior display like every LCD Samsung makes, and the product looks stunning just sitting on a table, but I'm regretably requesting an RMA before I even connect the power cord.
Cons: This the only flat panel LCD display device (HDTV or monitor) I've ever seen that neglects to include an option for wall mounting, and they seem to hide that information from any marketing literature so that the customer only finds out about it after they unpack the box.
Other Thoughts: Of less consequence, Samsung calls this product a monitor which is an improper use of the term. The proper term for this product is a HDTV. For over 50 years, the generic term "monitor" has meant only a display device - usually a high quality display device but more so, the term monitor has meant no tuner included. The generic definition of a TV has been the combination of a display device or monitor PLUS a tuner. For some reason, Samsung has decided to abandon the precedent of industry standard definitions to use an ad-hock and inconsistent redefinition of the term monitor to mean inclusion of a TV tuner as well. This is a poor marketing concept.

Pros: This monitor is wonderful, not only am I able to connect all my PC components, and allowing me to hook up my 360/Blue-Ray/PC entirely to one monitor makes it a bonus in my books. Already owning an HDTV, this allows me to watch my satellite as well as using the other three components listed above. The colors are vibrant, and as a bonus I got absolutely no dead pixels. The 5ms is not even noticeable during FPS games
Cons: I had to set it up :(

Nice Product - Thuggish rebate handling

Pros: The monitor performs well - all you could expect for the price.
Cons: However, four months after Samsung received my rebate documentation, the rebate status remains in the 'Processing' status. I called customer service today and was told that it would be another 3 to 4 weeks. That's the same thing they told me a month ago. Is rebate handling extremely difficult or is Samsung is intentionally refusing to pay ?

Pros: TV+monitor, great for people who have many electronics in one area. I have my computer, cable and 360 all based off this one monitor. Plethora of inputs, built-in speakers, and a beautiful design. The Touch of Color adds an elegant effect and when coupled with the clear rim it becomes a very presentable monitor. It can also handle large amounts of abuse, which is a major plus. I frequently bring it to friends' houses, often times cramming it into my backpack with many cables and usually my keyboard. I've knocked it off more doorways than I can count, and so far it's only obtained 1 scuff from dropping it on pavement. Many customizable options, such as adjusting the power light glow level and when it comes on, and many sound/picture/input related options such as equalizers and even naming inputs. Dynamic contrast looks great for most movies/games. The 5ms response time is lovely.
Cons: While this is called the T220HD, it does not support full HD. 720p is supported for TV and the maximum PC resolution is 1680x1050. When I first bought this over a year and a half ago, there were very few specifications out, and it was not made clear that it was not 1080p compatible. The stand is a bit stiff, it's difficult to tilt without holding the stand down. The actual screen is set back into the monitor about 1/4 inch which means the glossy exterior reflects 1/4 of your screen. It can be rather distracting. Touch power button can be unresponsive, taking several tries before it will work. When an input goes to standby, the monitor will as well, but you must change inputs for it to come back. Built-in speakers have absolutely no bass.
Other Thoughts: Overall, this monitor is great. It's as if it was built with gamers in mind. It has more inputs than I know what to do with, the built in speakers make it handy for bringing other places (even though they are quite tinny-sounding), the design makes it really stand out, and the display is crystal clear. I listed a large amount of cons, but they are small issues and do not bother most people. I would highly recommend this for a monitor but not for a TV if you want full HD.
