With the Samsung 2033SW monitor on your desk you may never get up again. Samsung has combined the best of their TV and monitor building skills and combined them into this one unit. The 20” screen has a native 1600X900 resolution, 300cd/m² brightness rating and an impressive 15000:1 dynamic contrast ratio for incredibly detailed pictures.

WOW
- Pros: very very good image, amazing black finish to it, a must have!
- Cons: very odd to put the stand, you need to have it straight and then push it in an angle of 5-10 degress, poor manuals
- Other Thoughts: other than manuals its worth every peny
Great monitor overall
- Pros: Very crisp - display is beautiful, body is beautiful, that's good enough.
- Cons: 1. If you don't have a very sturdy desk, it wobbles when you type or move mouse roughly. I was using it on an actual table and it was fine, but now it's on my rickety ikea desk and it's wobbling as I type this.
2. As a 16:9 monitor, the 19" does not get you as much vertical room as you might think. Here are the exact dimensions of this 16:9 screen: (H x W) 9.75" x 17.5".
3. When the cpu goes off the monitor has a thin 2" long bar of light that flashes below the frame of the monitor. Others had warned of this, but I thought it was just a small button and you could put black tape over it. I still could, but it would probably be a bit unsightly. Again, just as an fyi.
4. My 2 year-old laptop graphics card can't do 1600x900 perfectly - on a black background you can see some horizontal flickering. 95% of the time I don't notice it. I'm pretty convinced it's my graphics card, though, and not the monitor, because if I switch it to a lower resolution, it goes away from what I can tell.
- Other Thoughts: Even with the above issues, I'm happy with this monitor. A a couple inches bigger may have been a bit better, and maybe a bit sturdier, and with an on/off light that is on the side instead of the front... but hey, if you can get it for a good price like I did, you'll probably be very happy with this one!

- Pros: i freakn love this monitor best one ive had soo far. i wish i could of got it on newegg its $40 cheaper on here. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME LOOKING FOR ANOTHER MONITOR THIS IS THE ONE U WANT!!!!!!!!!!!!(BEST FOR GAMING)

Nice
- Pros: Easy to read at native resolution from a distance. Came with a DVI cable.
- Cons: Flashing blue light at the base is annoying. I have to turn it off at night. Box did not indicate if it had a DVI cable included. Guy at BB had no idea if it had a DVI cable included. Instructions read DVI cable not included. Had to return an overpriced DVI cable I ended up not needing.
- Other Thoughts: I bought this at BB as there was a sale on it. Got it for a second monitor paired to a 24" Acer. This one is on a shelf behind and to the left of the main unit. I use it for news and information while using the main, and find it easy enough to read even though it's sitting back some distance (about 3 feet). Perfect size for what I use it for, but for a main unit bigger is always better.

- Pros: Great quality monitor. My games, movies, and photoshop projects look great on it! I have had 0 problems with it just like all the other Samsung monitors in my house.
