Very large, barebones monitor
- Pros: This monitor has an incredibly high native resolution, great contrast, and awesome colors. It has none of the "fluff," such as an HDMI port or built-in speakers so that cuts the cost by a little. For the size and quality of this monitor, there aren't many that compete.
- Cons: The monitor's native resolution isn't supported by a lot of older games.
- Other Thoughts: The details on this monitor are very hard to see at 2048x1152, but games and DVDs look incredible so it's not anything that you can't get used to.
Great Purchase
- Pros: Great Contrast Ratio and Picture, I love the touch sensitive buttons. Great Native Resolution and It has automatic detection for whichever signal you have plugged in. Full 1080p for when I run my PS3 or HD quality materials from the PC.
- Cons: Doesn't have any other inputs but DVI and VGA, but most people only need those. I really just wish it had HDMI

SAMSUNG 2343
- Pros: High resolution.
Low price.
VESA mounting holes.
Good clarity and brightness.
- Cons: Blinking LED (but the power switch provides a workaround).
- Other Thoughts: I received a 2343 (50000:1 DC), not a 2343BWX (20000:1 DC).
I should have bought more of these while they were in stock. I bought three 2343BWXs from another vendor, and later bought a fourth so they all match. The four 2343BWXs are on a quad monitor stand connected to two dual head video cards on a four headed Debian system; the 2343 is back on its own stand, connected to a G4 Mac Mini.
I've used both the VGA input and the DVI input, and the single link DVI cable has been sufficient for any DVI video card I've connected it to. I connected it with a dual link cable (to a card I know to have dual link) and that made no difference in the resolution or refresh rate compared to the single link cable. I get good clarity even with the VGA input.
