Pros: These monitors have color and brightness second to none, I mean too bright and too colorful, if there is such a thing. Samsung never dissapoints in this department, whether its a TV, a Monitor or a Cell Phone display for that matter, these guys know displays.
Cons: 1. It does not have a very good viewing angles, if you are a designer or color correctness is an issue for you, this monitor will annoy you a bit, it changes colors quite a bit if viewing from different angles.
2. Monitor stand not height adjustable.
Other Thoughts: I bought 2 of these monitors for a dual view monitor setup, but unfortunately one of the monitors had a minor factory defect and I had to exchange it. Newegg did a great job and got me a new monitor within 2 weeks shipping time included. But now I can see that one monitor color is slightly different than the other. Again this is only because I have 2 identical monitors and I do alot of graphic design, so color accuracy is a bit important. Other than that these are some cool displays. For an everyday user these monitors are perfect for pretty much anything.

Pros: Gi-normus, bright, no dead pixels, no power brick, ability to turn off power to the internal brick, (need to turn this switch on to operate its in the back, glass touch settings on front panel will not wear out. I never thought there would be a big difference between a 23 and 24" but there is, forget the 23 go the 24. Good base it does not wobble.
Cons: 30-50 dollars more than the competition. no swivel. Newegg does not ship in a box but uses the box it comes in, not great if UPS leaves stuff at your door, Hey look im a 24 inch LCD monitor! Instructions suck, refered to them to learn how to turn the thing on, found the switch in the back of the monitor then used the glass touch on button which is sweet, by the way.
Other Thoughts: 3rd Samsung I have owned, I have a 15, 19 and now the 24, over the past 7 years and they are all still working.
