Pros: This is a great little monitor, colors are bright and no adjustment needed right out of the box. Rich and vibrant colors.

Cons: None I can think of, except it's not HD.

Other Thoughts: I had a Samsung 19" once that just up and quit after two years. I hope this doesn't do the same. This is part a gift of a complete AMD computer build for some friends, and for the price I'm pleased.

Pros: Best monitor out of the 10 I've tried with more than 20hours gameplay each. Love it! Absolutely nothing wrong with this monitor's visual display! Perfect realistic-tone compared to some monitors with more vibrance.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I scratch my base a lot from moving my keyboard up on it to use my graphic tablet. Schmeh.

Pros: I got this monitor so I could replace an old CRT. Does a great job. Works great and it's cheap

Pros: Nice picture quality. Nice features.

Cons: I built a new computer for my mother last xmas and my father bought this monitor for her. Right off the bat we had to send this monitor to Samsung for warranty because it had issues with not stating each time to getting to hot and image quality. The new one we received was good for almost a year with nice picture quality. But the VGA connection stooped working. Have to start using DVI.
I am not much for writing reviews but I am disappointed the the quality of the monitor. I have a pair of CIBOX,pair of ACERS, and a pair of DELLS and have had no problems.

Other Thoughts: I think my next monitor will be an HP. HP has really come a long ways in the last few years. Not saying they don't have problems. I just notice a lot fewer of there products needing work than others.
You would think for the money that was spent on this monitor it should last longer than it has. I have a sandbox in the shot I use for testing with a CRT monitor that has been around for years and still runs. (Sand Box= leftover computer parts / or cheap built computer used primarily for a testing computer)

Pros: Great Display. Looks Great. No Dead Pixels, Has DVI and VGA input and comes with a DVI and VGA cable instead of just an adapter.

Cons: HDMI would have been nice but not necessary.

Cons: Big neg surprise. I attached this to my Acer 15.6" LED monitor - got 3" more. The Acer screen is the same 1366x768, so the improvement had to come from color, contrast, etc. Sorry to say but the Acer blows away the Sam. I have a recent Sam 46" led tv, love the screen, and thought the monitor would give similar results. If you have not experienced a similar situation as I have, with nothing to compare so closely to, you probably would like this monitor. HOWEVER, I also have another 18.5 Acer monitor attached to a 13" Acer laptop, both LED, and the monitor is a definite improvement. This monitor is virtually the same size as the Samsung and by the way blows away the Samsung. So, there again, it depends on your exposure. As a last shot, the stand on the Samsung completely refused to tighten all the way, allowing it to freely sway. That was the last straw - I disconnected it and went back to the laptop display.

Other Thoughts: Got it for under $100, small but used as a second monitor so it works good and doesn't take up much space.

Pros: Analog and DVI compatible, Plenty of settings, Plug & play.

Cons: Magic Angle feature not so great.

Other Thoughts: This was my first non-recycled item in a long time. I like to just swap out used for used. Had a dying CRT (I know!) and wanted a well-reviewed, inexpensive, analog compatible monitor for an older PC. Graphics card is ancient but able to handle movies without skips. The Magic Angle feature doesn't work that well but I'm still very satisfied.

Pros: Contrast is nice. Brilliant colors and easy to change settings. For the price, you can't beat this monitor. Gotta love newegg!

Other Thoughts: Just to let some of you know, the glossy is referring to the cabinet/frame. The screen itself is matte which I don't have a problem with. Figured I'd put that in there in case everyone just read the reviews instead of the details of product.

Pros: Sleek design and nice packaging. The color brilliance/contrast and build of this monitor is exceptional. It's a Samsung so what do you expect?

Cons: None for me.

Other Thoughts: Some might say that the base of this monitor is cheaply made and flimsy but I do not agree. As long as you don't use a cardboard box as a computer desk then you won't have any problems.
