Pros: I went from 2 17" CRT Samsung SyncMasters to these. I love these monitors. Took time getting use to actually having screen space...

Pros: None. I ran the update patch for the monitor, it went dead. It looked like any other monitor for about 2 minutes. SO, I sent it in for service and that's where SAMSUNG's problem starts.

Cons: It went to service, it5 took several days for the UPS shipping tag to get to my email. I had it in to UPS the next day. Shipping/service took about two weeks. Got it back, same box I shipped it in (shipped back single box!?!). AND IT'S DEAD AGAIN! They didn't fix anything!

So, they want to ship me another UPS label (it's been two days and not here yet). Then another two or three weeks, if I'm lucky to get it back again.

I've owned this monitor now for months and not used it yet. I have another Samsung monitor, two TVs and was looking at their phones as well. However, their service is way, way BAD. Honestly some of the worst service I've ever run across. And I've been online since 1992.

I've loved their stuff, but service means too much to do without so I'm done with SAMSUNG.

Other Thoughts: Another thing was Samsung's telephone relations. I was passed off -- from service rep to service rep -- no less than three times per phone call. There were also several times during each call that I was asked to wait for two or three minutes. I bet that I was waiting at least 6 minutes a call and maybe longer. AND it took me at least four calls to get to where I am today. So if you like to be jerked around and waste lots of time with customer service and/or tech support -- THEN SAMSUNG'S THE BRAND FOR YOU. If, however, you like your tech/customer service quick, painless and seemless, LOOK ELSEWHERE!!

Pros: Great picture.

Cons: flimsy stand, but could live with that for the price.
Real problem is it died in about 4 months. Same issue as other posters. Powers up, but no picture.
Will contact Samsung to see if they are willing to replace it. Purchase on Black Friday, 2011, dead by April 1, 2012.

Pros: It worked beautifully for about 3 months...

Cons: And now will not even power up. My Macs & Windows machine do think it is working but the screen fails to appear. Sometimes you see the digital/analog message and sometimes you can get the OSD menu but now, it won't even power up.

Pros: The display itself looks nice.

Cons: The base to the monitor is loose, lift the monitor up ad the base falls right off, does not clip or screw into the display. Also, this monitor does not tilt whatsoever contrary to the description.

Other Thoughts: This monitor would be great if not for the base/stand issues.

Please know that this monitor DOES TILT.

Place the monitor on a flat sturdy surface, hold the base down firmly with one hand, grasp the top center of the bezel with your other hand and push firmly and gently back. This should tilt the monitor screen back. To tilt the screen downward, pull the top of the bezel toward you.

Please follow the below instructions to ensure a solid connection between the stand and the monitor:
1) Insert the stand neck into the stand base. Make sure you have inserted the neck all the way.
2) Now flip the assembled base over. Turn the connecting screw you see underneath until the stand is firmly fixed.
3) Place a soft cloth on a table or on the floor. Put the monitor face down onto the cloth.
4) Hold the monitor with one hand and push the assembled neck/base into the slot on the back of the monitor. This might require a bit of force to ensure that the neck is fully inserted.

If you have inserted the neck firmly and fully into the back of the monitor, there should not be any issue with tilt.

Pros: Cheap. Good image

Cons: There is a dead pixel

Other Thoughts: You would think by now that the dead pixel issue would be resolved

Pros: Loved it when it worked. Great looking screen.

Cons: It died on me in less than a month. The monitor will no longer power on. I checked the cables and connections. I moved it to another room even. It is dead.

Other Thoughts: Very upset.

Pros: It's a fantastic monitor, looks great with all of my modern games at 1080p. It's super thin and very sleek looking with the glossy finish. Just make sure you turn down the brightness from the default, which is max, unless you want a tan from the LED backlight.

Cons: None this far, flawless as always, Samsung.

Other Thoughts: I love all of Samsung's SyncMaster monitors, never had a problem once. I would gladly purchase more of these monitors for eyefinity. Only downside is there was no HDMI output on the monitor, but I was fully aware of that when purchasing it, so I just use a DVI to HDMI converter. Couldn't go wrong when getting it for $150 on sale.

Pros: Sharp and clear monitor. Draws less than 30W.

Cons: Wobbly stand and no VESA mounts.

Brick power supply adds to the mess on the floor behind my computer desk.

Backlight bleeds through on edges. Looks a little washed out when watching movies.

DVI cable not included.

Other Thoughts: Picture quality is better than that of an average cheap LED LCD monitor. Not worth anywhere near MSRP though.

Why do manufacturers include DSUB and not DVI cables with 1080p monitors? VGA can't look good on these monitors!

Pros: Great monitor, I have a SyncMaster 2243BWX at work and purchased the A300B for home use. Easy to set-up, auto programing, wife is impressed with the display and readability.

Cons: This monitor has a fixed stand, it DOES NOT TILT, as stated in the newegg.com Details and one review.
It dosen't raise or lower as one would expect from a monitor, however the SAMSUNG MagicAngle feature compensates.
