Cons: Warranty support is a utter joke... they will only do an exchange after 3 (three) failed repair attempts in which you are without a monitor for weeks at a time...

Go with Viewsonic or any other of the more reputable companies that will actual provide real warranty support...

All you need to know about Samsung... they have reduced all their 3 year parts and labor warranties to 1 year... tell you anything about their quality and support now?

Other Thoughts: I used to love Samsung monitors, they became my go to after years of Viewsonic use. My experience with trying to get the warranty honored and my P2770H repaired has forever tainted my view of this company. Having to send it in 3 separate times and then having to wait on approval to see if they "can" authorize a exchange is a joke.

Pros: Nothing outstanding

Cons: Died after 15 months. Samsung warranty is 12 months. I have a nice doorstop. I expected more.

Pros: Bought 2 of these to replace 2x 22". They work fantastically. The stand is not wobbly unless you are grabbing it and shaking it constantly. It sits fine on the desk and doesn't move. Color was fine, contrast a little high, brightness VERY high by default.

Cons: -You can't see the red if your life depended on it, but I didn't buy it for that.
-Very very bright. I had to turn my brightness way down but now it's fine. Having 2 white background screens up is a little overbearing sometimes later at night.
-Odd to not have a light on the power button, but it is 1.5" from the bottom right of the monitor and works fine.
-Monitor menu sucks, but once I set it once I never mess with it again so don't really care.

Other Thoughts: Newegg includes "Package Contents" on the front page, ignore the people who complain about no hdmi cable. If you're complaining about a $2 cable when you buy 5-600 worth of monitor, that's sad. It also states no VESA mounting and no DVI, but be careful what you read and know what you're using it for.

Pros: The price,response time, good colors

Cons: My monitor will not power on with HDMI connection from my video card. I've tried multiple HDMI cables, and different brands all with no success.

Other Thoughts: No HDMI cable included, and product doesn't preform as advertised. Hate to say that about Samsung monitor but in my case it's true.

Pros: 27" is a great size for decent ergonomics on a full size desk - this is a massive improvement over the 16" 1080p laptop screen I had been hunching forward to see.
Good value when I got it on sale.
No flaws on arrival (dead pixels, backlight bleed, etc.)
2ms response time is good for gaming etc.
Good contrast

Cons: Not mountable
OSD controls are slightly awkward (aren't they always, though)

Other Thoughts: I think this is a pretty good value overall, although there are certainly higher-quality monitors at higher price points, and much cheaper ones at smaller sizes. 27" is a real sweet spot for most purposes.

The bright red color visible in the photos is due to very bright lighting. In my room lighting, it's hard to tell that there's a red tint to the plastic... it just looks like black gloss finish.

Pros: I was about to get $230 refurbish one but found this, brand new, unopened one with $20 more. Even though it is a Tn panel, it has really wide vertical view angle compare to my 3 years LCD monitor.

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: I was really concern about red frame before purchasing but barely noticeable under very bright light.

Pros: Got this monitor the other day, was working fine for first two days. No dead pixels, very bright, good price.

Cons: After coming back from sleeping, the monitor started developing bad flickering problems, others have reported similar problems. I can't find solution.

Other Thoughts: Good price, bad flickering problem. Probably have to return it or RMA it for another one.

Pros: Price, Size, Foot Print of base. The monitor is great. Bright and easy to set controls. Also it's Samsung brand, all my TV's are Samsungs. Great service, great products.

Cons: The lack of DVI port.

Pros: Great Picture

Cons: No DVI! No Vesa Mounting Attachment. HDMI can pull out easily whereas DVI is a way more professional attachment. I find the capacitive controls harder to work with than real buttons. Monitor doesn't shut off when computer is put to sleep. (Requires manual shutoff.)

Other Thoughts: Disappointed with this monitor as far as connectivity and mounting. I just plain don't like the capacitive controls. Got this at a warehouse store and it's going back. Think I'll get an equivalent monitor with Display Port.
