Cons: If it has built in speakers, I can't find a jack to plug in to. The one I got also is all black, no silver, and has a blunt triangle kind of base. Other Thoughts: More than my moneys worth. augustas 6/7/2013 9:53:42 PM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 3/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 5/5Samsung 17" Monitor Pros: Cost, Free handheld scanner came with it, fully adjustable stand Cons: None for this unit it looks new but will mention the packaging was a little suspect it was wrapped in bubble wrap but luckily it was not damaged. Other Thoughts: I put a 24" monitor on the stand and use the 17" monitor as a second monitor and play movies on it above the big monitor its mounted on the wall with an articulating mount. As I said it was pure luck the monitor was not damaged in shipment with it in a single layer of bubble wrap and in a thin pasteboard box. Cons: The speakers aren't fantastic, but I didn't get this monitor for audio quality. There may be some very minor distortion, but this might be due to the resolution used. Beast 4/3/2013 12:12:10 PM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 1/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 4/5met expectations Pros: DVI and D-sub connectors. Height tilt and rotation capable stand that mounts via 100mm vesa. It came with power and vga cable. No scratches. Cons: viewing angle is not great. still had tape residue in several places around the bezel. no DVI cable. I think thats enough to justify taking an egg off. Other Thoughts: As a third monitor this will just fine. It's not a steal but if you take into account the adjustable stand that you can use on any 100mm display (stand is spring loaded so some modification will might be needed) id say you got a $20-$30 stand and an old but usable display for $20-$30. Mine was all black which was a nice surprise. In the end this was the cheapest option for a third display that will only see occasional use. Did you find this review helpful?
