Beautiful bright and buggy
Pros: Beautiful screen, multiple input options, usb hub and mobile friendly.
Cons: Let me preface this by saying I'm a Samsung guy. Samsung phones, TVs, computers. I trust their products. But I'm not surprised this one has been discontinued. I'm writing this as a public service to those who might look for this monitor in the after-market. I should have returned this immediately but being an old hand at resolving hardware issues I thought I could figure it out. No. I have a usb oriented set up in which I swap out various laptops. The hub connects to a monitor, 2 scanners, 2 printers, external drives and a wireless keyboard and mouse. I've used this set up for years without a hitch. Currently have 3 systems with Windows 7 pro, home in both 32 bit and 64 bit flavors. With it's additional hub, I thought this monitor would provide some additional flexibility. Nothing but problems. Usb devices mysteriously fail on some laptops but work fine on others. Wireless connectivity fails, or slows to a crawl. USB input works fine for some laptops, unusable with others. I've wasted days systematically disconnecting devices trying to isolate driver conflicts with no success. I've gradually shut down each of the monitor functions and am still having residual issues. Argh. Even when it's working relatively bug free, the monitor takes forever to lock into its signal source (except using the HDMI input). Reminds me of the old Windows 95 days -- turn on your computer and then go make a pot of coffee. It should be up and running when you return.

Pros: Beautiful looking high gloss black and white case and a very thin LED monitor.
Cons: Wireless has poor reception and is optimal if monitor is in "sight" of USB transmitter.
Other Thoughts: I'm going to try again with a fresh Windows 7 Pro install because I still have high hopes for it. What a sweet monitor. Fingers crossed.
