Pros: White, quite, cost-effective. NEC is a good brand.

Cons: Internal speaker is worthless - too quite for anything:
I had hoped we could integrate the sound without having to install a separate system. Unfortunately, the laptop speakers are louder and carry less distortion.

Other Thoughts: Our church wanted to install a couple of projectors during a recent renovation. The classrooms are usually in daylight, though the windows are stained (solid, "purple", with a wavy texture) - that said, the brightness is fine. The resolution was the biggest selling point (XGA). For the price, and considering the specs, its a perfect fit - especially when you are experimenting with projectors for the first time.

We were able to buy the inverted ceiling mount through newegg, as well as an 80" budget pull-down screen. Both work well. We also purchased VGA extension cables with integrated audio jacks. One runs from the projector to a wall plate and the other to a PC.

With a little research and labor, we were able to get two rooms ready for digital presentations, with a professionally-installed look, for about $1800.

Pros: Beautiful colors and sharp image.
Good features, except for one (cons).
light weight, easy to carry and connect.

Cons: The zoom feature that allows you to use this close to the screen is not very affective.
I have a 10 foot room for projecting the image on the screen and this projector needs 16 feet to fill the screen. The old projector work quite well here.
This is probably why there is no refund.

Other Thoughts: This was my mistake for not looking harder into the specs.
