The 500-lumen NEC L50W is a lightweight mobile projector designed to provide environmentally-conscious, on-the-go users with multimedia functionality. The solid state LED light source provides a mercury-free design, and the intuitive remote control allows for one-touch source changes and complete menu control for projector settings. The L50W has a filter-free design and offers a 1GB internal memory with SD input to expand storage up to 32GB, which lets you leave the laptop at home and easily present from a flash drive. The Office Viewer feature enables users to store common Microsoft Office file formats on the L50W, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as Adobe PDF documents. Built-in technologies include closed captioning and wall color correction.

Expandability The NEC L50W incorporates 1GB internal memory and SD input to expand storage up to 32GB. In addition, you can also insert a USB drive or compact flash memory card directly into the projector and change images using the wireless remote control provided with the projector.
Eco mode ECO mode extends lamp life, lowers audible noise and reduces total cost of ownership. Carbon savings meter calculates the positive effects of operating the projector in ECO Mode, which is encouraged by an optional message at startup. A green ECO Mode button on the remote control makes the switch easy. You can power on the projector as soon as it is plugged into a power outlet. Startup within 3 to 4 seconds and immediate power off with no cooling required after shutdown ensure efficient energy usage.
AutoKeystone Correction and built-in wall color correction AutoKeystone Correction feature allows you to project a square image even when the projector is set up at a steep offset angle to the screen. The built-in wall color correction ensures adaptive color tone correction to display properly on non-white surfaces.
Built-in closed captioning The built-in closed captioning enables decoding and display of text information from a video.
