Pros: great price and easy of use and easy to install.

Cons: The reason i give this 3 eggs is because this projector does not allow you to change the bulb out when it burns out. You have to send it back to the manufacturer for bulb replacement. Not very convenient when it is mounted to the ceiling and is used every day. I will not purchase this one again because of this design

Other Thoughts: Have bought several types of NEC projectors. I will just stay with the ones that you can change the lamp.

Pros: Picture looks good
It works
Simple to use

I've had it for almost two years and it works great. Leave it on the eco mode to get a little more life out of it.

Cons: I suppose the resolution could be higher - and this is a common stupid diatribe towards a less expensive projector. I knew what I was buying and it does what it said it could do.

Other Thoughts: Great projector for your home. You don't need some high dollar projector to do a simple home theatre kind of deal unless you're some kind of "gotta have the best" snob.

Pros: Great Picture, Eco Mode, Quiet Fan. Also I have not experienced DLP Rainbows as I did with my previous projector. I use HDMI from my receiver and it performs brilliantly at 720p. I have used my Laptop as well without problems.

Cons: I was unable to pair the unbranded 3d glasses to the NEC projector. Likely the glasses were incompatible.

Other Thoughts: I bought this over two years ago and have not had any issues with it. I would recommend this NEC due to the picture quality and reliability.

4 out of 5 eggsLight duty Buisness Projector

Pros: Lights the picture well, and has no rainbow effect that I can see. Clear for text powerpoints and decent for video in a well lit room at a screen size of 5' wide.

Cons: The zoom lens is a little weak making a smaller picture compared to my Epson I have used before this, thus it had to be moved further back from the screen to make the same size picture, this causes the picture to be less clear in a well lit room.

Other Thoughts: Got it on discount, and that's why I bought it. If it were at full price, I would pay the difference and get another Epson, but for $300 it will do the job nicely.
