Cons: Our photography studio ordered 2 of these screens for our capture station in hopes of upgrading to 4K from our older 24" NEC units. We have several NEC screens in the studio so we figured we'd go with a brand we trusted. Upon arrival, we noticed that there was severe banding on both screens resembling dark/light lines on a zebra. Being optimistic, we decided to order another two. Not only did the new ones have the same problem, the bottom left corner on one had a HEAVY green cast. Not a slight colour shift, but an overwhelming Incredible Hulk chunk. We contacted NEC customer service and they said they'd never heard anything about it and would get back to us. A day later, their response was, "Thank you for sending in those pictures, I have attached them to your case. We have one of these units in the office, and I was able to take a look at it and confirm that it is doing the same thing, where you see dark and light banding when looking at it from an angle. I have also confirmed with my corporate office that this is within spec for this unit. Unfortunately, any other EA244UHD-BK will more than likely have the same banding, as this is inherent in the panel." I expected more out of my $3000+ purchase. I feel sorry for Newegg for having to deal with a terrible product which I'm sure will result in multiple returns. Other Thoughts: Give a promotion to the girl that dealt with my second return. Pros: 4K?
