Hmm...
- Pros: Looks great, once I took the plastic off it started attracting dust. Easy to setup and the touch sensitive controls on the front are nice.
- Cons: None, the stand is a little flimsy but it works... If you're moving the monitor a lot you might want to invest in a better one or reinforce it somehow. Not worth taking an egg off for though.
- Other Thoughts: Definitely worth it, looked okay out of the box but once tweaked a little it looks absolutely amazing. Had only one stuck pixel but came out after about an hour of running JScreenFix. Wish it came with a DVI cable included.
The stand is fine.
- Pros: 50,000:1, 2ms (for gaming), True 1080p, HDMI, LG 3 year warranty.
- Cons: None.
- Other Thoughts: The included stand is just fine. It is not as good as Dell and others who have VERY sturdy stands. This is a large monitor which requires a sturdy desk. Someone describing themselves as a "hard typer" should probably invest in a new desk. Putting this beauty on a card table would be a very bad idea.
Keep in mind, you can get a different monitor with half the features/quality for 30-50 bucks less. Remember that you can bring this monitor from one build to the next. Spend the extra money to get a quality product from a trustworthy brand.
If you are not sure about the size, 23 inch is a good size. It's big but not too big. I would recommend a trip to an electronics store that has high quality monitors. Eyeball the models they have there to gauge what size is right for you, but don't buy it anywhere but newegg unless you want to be out 100 bucks or more.

beautiful
- Pros: Just about everything, it looks sleek and very pretty, the red lights on the front match the rest of my system, and its a great size for gaming and watching movies without being too big to close too. Plus with the HDMI port i even hooked my playstation up to it and got a perfect picture, and blu rays rays are gorgeous! great picture, and great looking, what more could you want?
- Cons: none so far. ill update if i find any.
- Other Thoughts: the touch buttons(like most) don't work all that well, kind of frustrating for first time set up but since you wont need them after that it's not worth taking off an egg.
Very poor Quality
- Pros: It didn't explode.
- Cons: poor workmanship/quality. defective menu access buttons. poor documentation. just overall a very bad buy.
- Other Thoughts: Very seldom do I see such a poor quality item from newegg and I've got two me/ips monitors from LG and they are very well built.
Gamers Dream, at a Realistic Price
- Pros: Full 1080p resolution and a low response time make for excellent gaming. Got it to replace an older model, touch buttons were a fun and interesting surprise. After the initial shock, the touch buttons were very easy to learn, just like PS3. Love the light sensor, like the ones on most smart-phones, it saves my eyes and power. You'll want to turn it off if your doing any photo editing or graphic design type work however, as it will throw off your colours. Also, of note is the ability to use all of the inputs on this monitor at once. I think that having the ability to switch sources on a basic monitor is unique. This ability may make for a good console (HDMI) and computer (DVI) combo.
- Cons: Stand is hard to adjust (Stiff) which makes changing this monitors angle on the fly a pain. No DVI cable. Doesn't make me a sandwich.
- Other Thoughts: Glow of the red power on/off light may be distracting but can be turned off in menu, so not a con. As with any glossy surface, the frame is a dust/fingerprint magnet, but it comes with a cloth, and you should be keeping it clean anyway. I hooked up my receiver to it when it got here, just to check it out on various video sources, and this beast did not disappoint. Bottom line it handled TV, 360, and PS3 feeds through HDMI and they looked and functioned great. It now is serving its intended purpose as my gaming rigs monitor, and all I can think is, "I need another one of these to put next to it." One day....
