4 out of 5 eggsBig screen small price

Pros: Large real estate, really bright, great viewing angle, Accurate colors. Pretty, Comes with DVI cable, good warranty. Affordable

Cons: Flimsy base, cheap, crackling plastic frame. I am personally not too crazy about the shiny plastic, or what they call a "Piano black" idea. No HDMI port

Other Thoughts: Replaced a 21.5 inch LCD for this one. Noticeable difference, not only the size, but better sharpness and contrast.
A decent, large display with accurate colors that need very little or no calibration, right out of the box. Plug it in and it works. The big, red, flashing power button is a little annoying, so I turn it off at night. The shiny plastic is a dust magnet. I read in earlier reviews that DVI cable is not included with this monitor, but mine actually came with one. I'd say for the price, You can't go wrong.
Recommend it.

4 out of 5 eggslg website...

Pros: The blacks are really black and the whites are really white and bright overall. Felt really good upgrading from my previous monitors of some HP and Acer in combination.

Cons: Lack of features such as HDMI, I know it doesn't come with it, but other models in this price range even have HDMI such as the Asus ones.
The buttons to fix setting are annoying. Who names Fun, Engine and source as settings? Really strange terms for some things I feel. The Photo effects in the Fun section is really.... .... ... Who would ever really need sepia or monochrome or blur.

The stand worries me as it seems rather weak.
There are no updated drivers at all so on Windows 7 it plugs in as a generic monitor, just a minor annoyance. Also on the LG website it just routes you over and over and you never get to even the drivers they have. Extremely horrible and it just points you towards more products than what you need to get. Just as bad as Sony I would say.

Other Thoughts: They are nice but not in dual or triple monitor use. The Monitor stands are probably why, since it makes them have this v shaped space at the corners if you put them together

What irks is even though knowing it has no hdmi and others have said nor dvi cable is for the things that they should have had for drivers and settings makes me think they are being extremely cheap. Sort of like Sony also but making user friendlies on the items horrible.
If even brands like Acer or Asus give some items, it means they are trying to make it the best and are not skimping out features.
Its the little things that make me like a company. Will not buy again. Great product if you handle that they skimped out on features. I will just give these away to friends.

The thought that my neighbor works for LG is funny but just an after thought.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Monitor

Pros: Its big! Lots of screen room, stand is easy to adjust, just an overall since monitor. No dead pixels on arrival and crystal clear when running at 1920 x 1080. You can;t beat the price either $169.00!!

Cons: As stated 1000 times by other no HDMI. But DVI works just as well, plus if you really care about HDMI on your monitor you shouldn't be buying sale item.

Other Thoughts: If your a college student looking to add more screen room so you can view word documents and powerpoints without having to minimize then buy this monitor. Also, if you enjoy gaming I have no complaints, huge upgrade over by 19' viewsonic!

5 out of 5 eggsGood deal

Pros: Got it on sale for $170, and received quickly. No dead pixels on arrival. Very high quality. The whites made my (old) viewsonic look tar colored. Picture is bright, and I coulndn't have asked for anything else at that price point.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: No height adjustment, but that was known before purchase. Would highly recommend as a sub $200 22"+ monitor.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor, poor stand

Pros: + Great monitor resolution (1920 x 1080)
+ Haven't had any ghosting (ranged from CSS to Crysis)
+ Very vivid colors in games and movies
+ No dead pixels
+ One of the simplest monitors I've ever had
+ It's an LG

Cons: - Only one egg off due to the pathetic stand, anytime I really got into a game it would wobble from side to side. So I went ahead and replaced it with an aftermarket stand from a local store. Could easily fix this with something on either side of the actual monitor to stabilize it.

Other Thoughts: I got this monitor $50 off so it was a fantastic purchase. Screen brightness had to be toned down but no big deal. 'Fun Button' is pretty much pointless, but no reason to take an egg off due to an added function.
Had to practically move my desk further away because this monitor is so dang big.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid purchase

Pros: Great design. Small profile. Buttons on the front of the screen to navigate. Semi-gloss finish for the screen is exactly what I wanted. No dead pixels on delivery.

Cons: No DVI cable in box. Stand is wimpy. No way to adjust angle of the screen up or down.

5 out of 5 eggsLoves it

Pros: I had a regualr 18 inch lcd moniter before this. And After opening the box I was like wow, kind of to big for me. But now I love it more than anything. Beautiful picture, sleek design. Nothing more I could ask for.

Cons: When the computer is off, the moniter standby is a flashing light, HATE IT. so i just turn it off.

Other Thoughts: Mad I didn't by it when I wanted to, Black friday.
