3 out of 5 eggsFail

Pros: Good picture quality, layout & function of remote

Cons: Did not last. Also, when using the HDTV tuner, people's faces lacked depth and often appeared washed out.

Other Thoughts: After about 6 months the VGA connection started failing and the picture color was way off. Contacted LG and they *immediately* offered a replacement (good for them). I tried out the new (refurbished) monitor which was a newer model than the one I originally had. Unfortunately the color convergence was so far off when used as a monitor that it was unusable. Too bad, the picture quality was much better than the original monitor. I ended up returning both monitors and received a refund from LG for the *full* purchase price of the monitor. At least I'm impressed with LG's customer service.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat display

Pros: Awesome monitor, love the picture output and didn't have to twiddle with the settings at all. I am not utilizing the TV function, so no thoughts on that. I do plan on buying a second one in the future.

Cons: I have a corner desk in my room, and the monitor sits centered. With it's current stand setup sometimes when I type (I have a rough dell keyboard for the moment) it shakes the monitor - as in it kind of wobbles on the stand, side to side. It does this a little bit, and not all the time it depends how hard I am actually typing.. But it is becoming a bit of an annoyance.

It being glossy black, I am a fan of matte black - but this really isn't a con. Just personal preference - and I knew what I was buying.

4 out of 5 eggsExceeded expectations

Pros: Great picture, easy setup, excellent tuner.

Cons: No PIP, 5ms response time

Other Thoughts: Perfect for purchased use, will encourage a larger LED/LCD TV purchase. With basic cable (no cable box), this tv was able to scan and pick up 177 channels.....outstanding!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Great picture, and almost every connection you could want.

Cons: The serial port is not for viewing a serial console. I knew this when I bought it but this is the first time I've seen a monitor with a serial port on it and it got me thinking. I would love it if some company would produce a screen that had one or two usb ports for a keyboard and a serial input for console access, baud and other settings should be in the normal monitor settings. Not a con, just a feature request.

Other Thoughts: I'll be buying another one of these again soon.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy

Pros: Good picture quality, good A/V connections

Cons: PC interface with HDMI

Other Thoughts: I've always been skeptical of LG products, but this may convert me. There were no stuck/dead pixels. The picture has great quality. There are plenty of connections, especially for a TV/monitor of this size. It even has an optical out.

The only negative thing I have so far is that when I hooked up my laptop with HDMI, it didn't go full screen. There was about a one inch border of unused screen around the monitor. This may be an issue with my laptop or something fixable in the menu. I just went back to the RGB cable. It looks better anyway.

The speakers are adequate, nothing special. But then, most TV speakers aren't.

I would definitely recommend this product.

2 out of 5 eggsgood picture quality if...

Pros: good picture quality and connections

Cons: you need to be right in front of the tv/monitor if you want to enjoy what you see, i have it hanging out of my wall and turn it down all the way and still i can not see the tv programs or movies clearly they look bad i need to watch tv standing for full details.

Other Thoughts: it could be a good computer monitor.
but for a tv it does not work

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Screen

Pros: Purchased for use with cable TV, computer, and Playstation 3, all of which work wonderfully.

Variety of connectors, stylish appearance. Very large display.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Factory Display Settings may not be optimal. For instance, I had to adjust the Black Level (Under "Advanced" in the display options.)

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing.

Pros: The price and that it has everything those expensive "HD TVs" have and more.

Cons: Life's Good.

Other Thoughts: If I said I didn't like this monitor, I'd be lying to you.
Of all the computer related purchases I've ever made I feel that this one was by far the best, at $210 this monitor has everything, a good size at 21.5", Composite, Component, and 2 HDMI Inputs and even the OSD is fantastic.
I was expecting poor speaker quality as with most monitors that have them, I was pleasantly surprised when I found these to be even better than the speaker set I was using on my computer, Now I had 3 upgrades instead of just two (TV, monitor)

At the price this monitor comes at all HDTV's Pale in comparison to it regarding quality and price, the cheapest 1080P HDTV Ive found was around $400, and that sacrifices alot of good features and traits, this however, does not.

I highly recommend this buy, You wont get a better monitor with a TV tuner for cheaper, it just wont happen.

Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsReplaced 2 "dinosaurs": CRT TV & monitor

Pros: This meets and exceeds my expectations... monitor is so bright, I actually had to dim it about 50% (easy-to-select onscreen settings). Lacks TV connecting cables, but was easy to connect to my Mac mini (primary use as computer monitor). Its sound is of course better than the little computer's. I'll get TV connections set-up later. It's wonderful to have all that extra desktop space on the screen (view 27cm tall, 47.5cm wide)!

Cons: Nichevo, tovarisch (none, comrade)!

Other Thoughts: Vida faz-lhe bem (Life's Good)!
