Pros: Wanted a vertical monitor for coding and use as a secondary. Works perfectly. Clear and bight, and very easy to swivel and position.

Cons: Makes my other monitors look bad.

Pros: Great colors, sharp graphics. Sick viewing angles. Bezel and stand are NOT glossy.

Cons: Somewhat flimsy stand. Don't really care for the adjustment buttons but that's what almost all monitors have these days.

Other Thoughts: Great monitor. I had a nice Viewsonic LED monitor and this one just blows it away. The only bad part about going IPS (I also have a Retina MacBook Pro) is that they ruin you for every other laptop/LCD screen.

Pros: The monitor has great colors, sharp picture, and the rotation is great for coding and specs. I have not seen any of the bleeding indicated by other reviewers. I love these monitors, I have 3 of them on my system and they all work great!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I think these monitors are a great balance of price vs quality, highly recommend them to anyone.

Pros: The picture has good color depth, afast refresh rate, and no bleeding or color banding.

The price was great when I bought it and the height adjustment is really worth it too!

Cons: It wasn't very well protected inside the box, my previous LG monitor had far better foam packing but my monitor wasn't damaged in shipping.

Pros: Great colors great Picture very stable, swivel tilt and flip directions matte finish all nice features.

Cons: Light Bleed like no tomorrow. I think they sold these because they thought the world was ending and no would be around to complain. I am on my second one and have decided to just eat it. The first one had the worst light bleeding ever and UPS replaced do to shipping damage. This on isn't as bad. The boxed was damaged again but I believe the product is just inferior. The bezel and edge don't meet up well or something but it looks like spotlights from the edge aimed toward the center when watching dark scenes.

I wanted to try again but I can't wait and deal with tons of shipping and then finally maybe just get a refund.

No HDMI but I knew that when I bought it.

Other Thoughts: Spend more money if you are really looking for the best monitor. If you only want this for photos or net surfing long as nothing is to dark you won't notice. Does great with brightness.

Pros: The price was right, but item arrived with the bottom right corner being dimmer than the rest of the screen

Cons: Dim bottom right corner

Pros: Great Color; no bleed; no dead pixels; no ghosting while gaming; excellent adjustability and calibration; height and swivel; matte bevel. IPS = great color and viewing angles.

Cons: Its not free.

Other Thoughts: Have two of them in dual monitor coniguration. Out of the box the color reproduction does not match exactly. Calibrate by eye or preferrably use a spyder and they are fantastic.

Pros: Great monitor, great color(when it works)

Cons: I bought 2 monitors for duel use. 1 has been perfect this entire time, while the other one has a shade of pink when selecting through the USER and sRGB modes. I've returned it to NewEgg 3 times so far and its all been the same thing. I even called LG to see if that was an issue and they said the same thing I thought, It shouldn't be pink in two modes. So when you have google up for search and you have it in sRGB and USER mode, the screen will have a shade of pink. I bought these for photo editing and with issues like that, i wish i would have spent a bit more money trying to get a better quality of monitors.

Other Thoughts: So if you get one that works, its an awesome monitor... but if you get stuck with the three that i've gotten so far that all do the same thing, not sure what to tell you, but good luck. seems like a lottery when trying to get a quality product.

Pros: Incredible monitor at this price point. Couldn't be happier. Got two. Accurate out-of-box color and clarity with IPS technology. Haven't had to tweak any settings.

I can finally part with my 20-year-old Portrait Pivot monitor!

Pros: Great bang for the buck.
I love the contrast ratio - next to my old TFT LCD the colors are amazing.
The monitor has a neat "reading" mode that cranks up the contrast even more - my eyes don't get as stressed after reading a lot. I also use it in a portrait orientation a lot - great for reading full screen, or writing code.
I game a lot. Usually IPCs tend to have a lower matrix response time then TFTs, but once you get down to 5 ms, you can't really notice anything - all fast games look great on this monitor.
It has speakers, although they are low quality laptop speakers, you never should expect a "home theater" built in speakers. I often bring this monitor with me to places, it's nice not to worry about not having speakers when I need them.

Cons: None really. Not for the price anyway. You may want a USB hub in it or an hdmi port, but that'd be extra features, that would raise the price.

Other Thoughts: Unfortunately the monitor I got has a dead pixel. It's not stuck pixel, it's dead (constantly black). The monitor has a fairly high pixel density, so I didn't notice that pixel for quite some time. By the time I noticed it newegg's warranty expired. So I called LG, and they agreed to repair it. 3 weeks without the monitor and it came back. Seems like repairman tried to turn it on, it worked, and he sent it back, because in the log he said that no problems found, but my screen still has a dead pixel. So I contacted LG again, and they agreed to replace it, but at this point I'm just tired of not having a monitor. It's hard to notice the pixel anyway, so I'll keep this monitor. I just wish LG's repair service would be better.
