4 out of 5 eggsummm... kinda nice

Pros: Awesome price - purchased new online from another retailer during black Friday event for $200, Enjoying the brushed metal style base, large, thin, and light weight

Cons: I'm using a dual monitor configuration, so it sits next to a nice glossy HP 25". It only looks a hair larger than my 25". Bright and faded out of the box but a lil calibration fixed it mostly, I didn't have to do so much work with my 25". I couldn't get it to match the vibrant colors of my gloss 25"

Other Thoughts: Overall its a good deal... I don't care about stand quality as others stated because I don't plan on moving it much, but I wouldn't dare pay the current newegg asking price, just wait for another black Friday deal

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome Monitor For The Price

Pros: 1920x1080
5ms
BIG
LED

Cons: None So Far

Other Thoughts: Got this at Best Buy for $200 on sale from $350! It's an excellent monitor, I buy this again! Havn't tried out the onboard speakers, but the picture is awesome!

4 out of 5 eggsGood monitor; adding to old review

Pros: Good looking monitor. I like the brushed metal finish look of this compared to the shiny black polished look you get from other monitors. It's bright and colorful. Great horizontal viewing angle.

Cons: I do notice that the vertical viewing angle is pretty bad; definitely not 160° as it states. Once you start to go below the screen at about 45° to center line it gets that negative look to it.

Other Thoughts: Wish it had the vertical viewing angle that it states.

4 out of 5 eggsNice monitor - Cheal Stand

Pros: Nice design.

Cons: Cheap stand.
Color seems to be somewhat washed-out. Need heavy calibration.

Other Thoughts: I own 3 of this one. Pretty good for watching movie and playing game with high res.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat monitor, only one small issue

Pros: Great picture with LED. Says it's only 250 cd/m2, but is much brighter than my old Sony with 300 cd/m2. Nice and big.

Cons: Not really sure why, but the sound through the headphone output is low on this monitor compared to my old monitor. The old one was on par with the direct output of my computer, but this monitor I have to turn the speakers up twice as loud to get similar volume. I would just turn up the monitor volume, but that starts to distort the sound and makes it sound awful. Haven't seen anyone else complain about this, so maybe I got unlucky.

Other Thoughts: Great monitor. Only docked an egg for the low volume output of this thing.

5 out of 5 eggsSorry N egg

Pros: First off i bought this for mostly gaming and it seems to be exactly what i wanted, a nice big monitor with decent resolution. I bought it from a retail store and they had it for a really good price that i couldn't pass up. Right out of the box a little bright but nothing that can't be fixed withing 2-3 minutes at most. no stuck pixels and havent noticed any bleeding.

Cons: None. It's big and games look very nice especially Skyrim and Maxpayne.

Other Thoughts: for under 300 i think it's a good deal. Nice physical buttons on buttom of monitor easy to use. All games look smooth havent had any screen tearing. I don't know thats all obviously wish it was higher res but great for what i needed. I haven't switched my monitor to my big screen since i got this.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: 1080 resolution, thin, LG, got it at another retail store for $270, no dead pixels.

Cons: Menu is a little weird, wish their was 1 more HDMI, but that seems about par with other monitors.

Other Thoughts: Got this to replace a 21.5inch 1080 monitor I had before it. 21.5 inches is a little too small for such a large resolution to me. Since the monitor is so thin and light I think they got away with a little bit of a cheaper stand for it, it works well though.

5 out of 5 eggsNice upgrade

Pros: Got an amazing deal on this monitor, between an open item discount and store remodel discount, I picked this screen up for only $180. I was wanting to buy an IPS panel instead, but for the price I can't complain. Unlike other reviewers my monitor does not have a single dead/stuck pixel, and video playback is nice and clean. This monitor replaced a 20" Asus 1600x900 monitor, and the difference is HUGE (pun intended). I've been playing plenty of BF3, Skyrim, Diablo 3 and others, and they've never looked better. All colors are nice and vibrant, and the black is pitch black. If you sit too close to the monitor videos and images can start to look washed out and slightly pixelated, but when you sit back the proper distance these issues go away.

Cons: Not an IPS panel, does not support 2560x1440.

Other Thoughts: For the price I paid for this monitor I am more than satisfied, going from a lower res LCD screen to this 1080p LED screen is just awesome. With that said, I don't think I would pay the price on Newegg for this screen, despite how nice it is.

2 out of 5 eggsPoor Quality Monitor

Pros: Pretty big, thats about the only pro.

Cons: Flimsy.

Bought from a retail store knowing there would be a dead pixel or something else. First one had a nice white pixel on the right side. Got an exchange, second monitor had a nice green one right at the center of the screen. Its amazing how in this day and age they make so many great and complicated things, yet making a monitor without leakage or dead pixels is next to impossible. How does that even make sense?

Other Thoughts: Buy something else. There must be a reason why this monitor is 299 at retail.
