4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good Price, Very bright as one would expect . Usual suspects in settings are available and few presets. Quality if the screen itself is fantastic.

Cons: Like mentioned before the stand is godawful, for stationery desks and no disturbances it does its job.

1 out of 5 eggsWas enjoying the monitor - until...

Pros: Good Picture Quality
Stylish

Cons: Slow
Stopped working

After 2 months, 2 days my monitor went black and is no longer working. It happened mid-game, so I'm not very pleased. It was a decent monitor until then.

5 out of 5 eggsgamers perspective

Pros: the color is great out of the box and noticeably better than my 22inch AOC , which was just fine honestly.
I'm using my native AMD drivers and haven't tried the "stock" ones that came on the disc. see no reason to tbh.
I was a bit hestitant about this purchase initially , but now that it's here and I've ran it for a few days , I'm seriously impressed.
view angles are good , blacks are perfect , there is zero stuttering or ghosting , this monitor is great with world of tanks , eve , skyrim etc. Ive been testing it on everything I have since I got it.

Cons: a lot of folks have knocked an egg off for the stand ...
those guys should knock an egg off themselves for having a wobbly desk .....
the stand is fine stability wise.
From the bottom of the stand to the bottom of the screen measures 4 inches exactly. might be a bit low for some tall people like myself. But I just stuck a little 3 inch desk shelf/storage under it and now it's perfect for me.

Other Thoughts: I'm going to buy 2 more of these to replace my 22 inch eyefinity setup.

3 out of 5 eggsNice monitor but NO DVI cable!

Pros: I love LG Monitors. Crisp clear, minimal color adjustment needed when you set them up. It's pretty much the only monitor brand I will touch, after being burned by horrible quality with other brands. I've bought about 10 in the last few years for family and friends and they are well worth it. Other brands...don't even bother.

Cons: HOWEVER! The reason why they do not include a DVI cable is beyond me! Who uses VGA any more?? The monitor is HD but they still don't include a $5 DVI cable after all these years! That's just a huge shortcoming, you'd think by now that LG would WAKE UP and give you one! Dropping two eggs because of that alone. Give us the COMPLETE package instead of inconveniencing your customer and making them go buy a separate cable!

Other Thoughts: Otherwise, great monitor. Never been disappointed with LG.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Monitor but flimsy stand

Pros: Good monitor and good price. Using as my second monitor with dual monitors.

Cons: As stated by many here, it has a very flimsy stand. Probably the most flimsy that I have ever encountered.

Other Thoughts: As long as your not bumping the desk or moving it too much, the stand shouldn't be a problem.

4 out of 5 eggsAbout what you would expect

Pros: Caught a sale and great value for the money, bright display, good resolution, works fine for gaming

Cons: Red LED on power button obnoxiously bright, slow to resume from standby

Other Thoughts: This is not a super high end monitor, but then again that is not what you are paying for. Yes the stand is flimsy, but so are pretty much all in this price range. Sad that industry still supports VGA, but no HDMI or isplay port. Even worse, the only included cable is VGA. HInt to manufacturers- I have not used a VGA port in over 10 years.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent Screen

Pros: The monitor is a great monitor for a great price. I have always liked the LG brand electronics as well; I have had great experiences with their CS. The screen quality so far is great, as is the menu settings.

Cons: As everyone already stated in reviews, the wobbly stand. It's true, it's really bad. It doesn't bother me as I have a stable desk.

The outfacing plugs are a pain, it makes me a "Always screw in the cable" kinda guy now. Never was before.

No HDMI port. We already knew that though from the specs. Still a bummer.

Other Thoughts: If we went straight on quality of the screen, I would give a 5/5. The price was right on target, and I am completely happy with the purchase.

4 out of 5 eggsGood price, need tweaks

Pros: good bang for the buck, if bought on sale
very bright screen
very sharp
easy to assemble, setup
weighs next to nothing

Cons: wobbly stand
way too bright at default settings
menu systems leaves something to be desired

Other Thoughts: It took me a couple of days to get the brightness under control, even after dialing it back from 100 percent (default) to 25 percent. I am using as a computer monitor, not TV. Final solution was to pick MEDIUM color temp, which brought it close to normal for a computer monitor. Still way brighter than my old HP fluorescent lit monitor but tolerable.
