5 out of 5 eggsAwesome for eyefinity!

Pros: Very crisp and vibrant image. I use 3 of them for an eyefinity setup for racing sims and MMOs. Couldnt ask for a better setup.

Cons: One had lines apear the first day i bought them. Replacement was fine.

Other Thoughts: Didnt buy from the egg but still throwing my opinion out there.

4 out of 5 eggsGood monitor - they cheap out on the cable

Pros: Lots of screen real estate and vivid crisp colors. Matte finish on the screen (not glass)

Cons: LG does not supply a DVI cable for the monitor. When you spend good money on a monitor they provide you with a DVI cable. No worries, I had one from my previous monitors.

Stand does not go up or down or turn (this was known before the purchase, but you only get tilt - to add height you need to get some books. Just be informed)

Other Thoughts: I use 2 of these for SW development and it's great. Visual Studio can have multiple toolbars open and you can view 2 code docs (say c# doc and a view) side by side all at the same time with just 1 monitor. This was a major improvement from my 2 22" Dell Ultra sharps.

The matte finish is great for coding since I have a window in my office. There is no glare. The colors are much better on these monitors compared to my ~4 year old 22" Dell Ultra Sharp. The text is crisp and easy to read in Visual Studio and web. Additionally, the white is not too bright in SQL Server Management Studio (something I was afraid of since it's 27"s of white)

Be aware if you are purchasing 2 of these monitors the ergonomics are different than what you may be used to. I have 2 of these and it hurts my neck/back if I look at the edge of the second one for extended periods of time (2+ minutes multiple times a day) because I'm twisted in my chair. I have to rotate my chair and move my mouse to the other part of my desk to square off with it. It's a lot of screen with 2 of these, but not too much.

The red light on the bottom is a nice ambient glow and lets you know that your monitors are turned on after you move the mouse to wake the screens back up. It's not distracting when writing code or browsing the web. I cannot speak to if it is distracting when watching a movie or gaming.

The monitors do not seem to wobble like some of the reviews have said. I speculate it could because they have the monitors on a cheap desk. ($300 monitors on a $100 desk type of thing)

Overall, great buy, but LG did cheap out on supplying only a VGA cable and not a DVI

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Crisp, clean picture. This monitor really delivers an amazing picture/
I just ordered my second one of these panels, I'd bought one when it first came out at best buy *Paid a lot more than $250 for it too...*

The slim bezel makes these great for side-by-side multi-display setups.

I'd tried a couple other monitors of similar price range, the Samsung IPS, and another LED from Asus before settling with this model. Really one of the best in it's class.

Cons: Stand should be more adjustable for the price range of this panel. It's a bit flimsy too, don't go knocking it around and expect it to stay standing.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat monitor

Pros: man, the resolution is awesome. the picture is awesome. the appearance is awesome. so far, i have had this for about a month and this thing was worth the money and i REALLY like the size of it.

Cons: really none so far...oh, i guess the buttons are kind of weird in that they are touchless...but that is just strange not bad in my mind.

Other Thoughts: some people noted it is bouncy, i have not had that issue. others mentioned that the bezel is big or whatever, it is perfect...there has to be some kind of edge. it is very comparable to my tv so in totality, i dont think i have any issues at all with the monitor so far.

5 out of 5 eggsDon't think about it, just buy it!

Pros: This thing is awesome. Bought it replace my old 24" dell lcd monitor and the difference between the two just slaps you in the face. One of the best purchases I've ever made. I'm really liking LG products as I also own an led cinema 3d tv also and the picture and 3d are amazing as well.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsLG 27EA63V-P

Pros: Large - Clear - Very Bright (in fact so bright I'm running mine @ 40% Brightness and 50% contrast). Crisp and clean colors, colors look very natural. Darks are dark as they should be: not "Grey" as with a lot of other monitors (did someone say TN film?). No problems w/ the buttons (some report they are too sensitive).

Cons: Only one so far: some complain that the base is too flimsy. It seems to work okay for me but, the lack of "height" adjustment is a Minus 1/25 of an egg off for me. I need it to be about 5" higher to fill the space in my Desk/Wall unit. My Samsung 245t was adjustable to center right between the bottom and top of the space I was trying to cover. I'll have set it up on a block or something??? Maybe I should take one egg off for that but, I don't want to steer people away from the "Good" aspects of this monitor..!

Other Thoughts: I purchased this elsewhere (still love the egg!) and got a great deal on it: (just over 3bills + tax). I replaced a professional series Samsung 245T (also IPS & $600+ when purchased new) and I do notice a tiny difference between the "crispness" but, it is very slight. Watching Blu-Ray movies there is almost ZERO "motion blur" (you really have to watch for it) "bested the 245T" in this category. Gaming on this one is Excellent - You won't be disappointed ! I'm going to try a aftermarket VESA mount to see if I can get it where I want it in my Desk (though I hear the VESA screw holes are very "fragile" on this model). Thankfully it's not very heavy; I might get lucky to find an aftermarket one to position it where I want w/o any troubles? All and all couldn't be happier. It's a great Monitor minus the "Cheap" - non adjustable stand.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor (Bought retail)

Pros: Great picture
Great viewing angle
Amazing colors
Big!!!
Thin Bezel (Which is easy to see in the pictures :/)

Cons: Flimsy Stand

Other Thoughts: Ignore the people crying about false advertising. You can clearly see the thin bezel in the picture. Look at all the pictures people. It isn't that difficult.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Buy

Pros: Large screen, easily viewable from any angle, easy menus to navigate, nice touch controls, lightweight, non-glare / matte finish.

Cons: Took me a few minutes to figure out the overscan problem.

Other Thoughts: Had to take the overscan away to get the full picture, but even after I set it to zero on the monitor, there was some unused screen area on the monitor. I had to go into the AMD controls for my graphics card, which had jumped to some default overscan settings once I connected the monitor, FYI.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor

Pros: Clear Picture (No dead Pixels)
Crisp Bright Colors
Fast Response time

Cons: None thus far.

Other Thoughts: Got my monitor at a local retail store on sale. Saw it on display so I knew about the bezel, which wasn't even a consideration in my book. I bought this to game on and I love it, paired with a high end video card the picture is crisp and responsive. Has a great viewing angle as well. I'm very happy with my purchase wouldn't mind having 2 more!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor. Misleading Photos

Pros: Great looking monitor. VESA mount. DVI, HDMI, VGA. Small bezel.

Cons: Every picture of this monitor shows almost no bezel. This is not accurate at all. Yes there is only a very small strip of plastic bezel, but the panel image itself does not go all the way to this strip as the images would lead you to believe. It stops about 1/2" away from it.
