4 out of 5 eggsGood monitor, minor flaws

Pros: It has a great image, and is just the right size for my desk. It is nice and thin, so it doesn't take up much space on my desk either. I connect via HDMI and it is great.

Cons: It has this default energy saving mode that I haven't found out how to turn off yet. Basically, it'll turn off the monitor after a minute or so of inactivity. It makes doing homework at my computer a bit tedious whenever it turns off because I look away.

This also isn't really a con, but the on/off button can be unresponsive at times. It's fitted on weird, so if it isn't the perfect "click" every time, it won't turn on or off. Even though it feels like it clicked properly. Not the biggest issue, once you get the hang of what it takes to turn it on. However, I do know the smaller monitors of this same family have touch activated power buttons.

The base of the monitor doesn't allow for tilt. It says it should, but it's hardly counts as tilt. It isn't a problem on my desk and how I have my computer set up, but if you need the tilt it could pose a potential problem

Other Thoughts: Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and would consider buying another one when I decided to upgrade my setup.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent screen at price point

Pros: Great colors, very lightweight, power button LED isn't forward-facing (thank you LG, overly bright LED's are a pet peeve of mine). No dead pixels or edge bleeding at all. Sharp, clear, consistent picture.

Cons: Darks aren't as great as they could be and refresh rate can cause ghosting, but that's not specific to this screen, it's specific to the type of screen it is. LG also needs to redesign their ugly logo...sorry, but its true :/ lol

Other Thoughts: Very happy with purchase overall, would recommend to others. I play video games and do graphics work and I tend to be obsessive over minutia, but this screen fully meets my qualifications. On a budget you'd be very hard pressed to find anything better, even if you looked into Korean markets as I know some people do.

1 out of 5 eggsWay too dark

Pros: Price, visual aesthetics, nice sturdy stand, dvi and hdmi. Price.

Cons: These monitors would be perfect if you could see anything on them. Turning up the brightness in my graphics card settings did brighten it up a bit but at the cost of distorting the colors. These screens are so dark it is virtually impossible to watch a movie or play a game on. Highly disappointed now I have to pay lord knows how much money to ship them back. Last time I ever buy a monitor off the internet without seeing one in person first.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat replacement.

Pros: Great size, LED backlit, runs cooler, doesn't take up as much space as my older flat screen, thinner.

Cons: I'm using this on a Radeon HD 6450 graphics card via HDMI. The recommended resolution (1920x1080) from the card leaves a black edge about 7/8" wide around my screen. I haven't tried the DVI output to see if this fixes the issues. The image is super sharp and clear, so this really isn't a con though. I have gotten use to the black edge now.

Other Thoughts: I need something to replace an older 32" Toshiba flat screen I was currently using with my computer. The footprint with this LG LCD is a lot smaller and I don't feel as crowded now.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's good. A little too good.

Pros: This monitor is great. It's thin, image quality is excellent and it has an audio output so that you can feed directly to speakers when using the HDMI input. I don't know why you would want to use anything but HDMI for this. Bezel has a nice, brushed sheen to it and the screen is matte, so no glare. And neither surface attracts fingerprints.

Cons: I let my roommate use it to play StarCraft II and now he has lost all interest in women. I notice when I come in at night the monitor has disappeared.

Other Thoughts: All monitor makers that aren't going to put speakers in their monitors absolutely must put an audio output on there so you can output the HDMI audio. Thank you for this, LG.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Display

Pros: I love this setup. There is a HDMI, DVI and VGA plug on the back. The monitor tilts just enough to what I need. The screen is the perfect size and works great in a dual monitor setup. I am able to use this perfectly at the maximum 1080 resolution. The colors are great too. I would recommenced this to anyone who wants a large affordable display.

Cons: Does not come with DVI cable

5 out of 5 eggsNice monitor

Pros: Size for the price, looks good, arrived in 3 days, very light weight.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I bought this for the kids to connect their PS3 to it, took it out of the box and installed it on the wall mount, hooked up sound bar with HDMI and the kids were playing PS3 in minutes without any picture adjustments needed. Vesa measurement is 100mm x 100mm. Would recommend.

2 out of 5 eggsDead pixels after 3 months..

Pros: Great size and looked pretty good while it lasted.

Cons: I expected better from an IPS monitor. It didn't look as good as i thought it would. colors are a little flat and now I have a row of dead pixels.
LG Customer service sucks. I don't have a backup monitor so it looks like I'm gonna have to go a couple weeks without one while LG replaces the one I bought that went three months before a solid row of dead pixels showed up across the screen.

Other Thoughts: Should have gone with a Dell and spent the $$$..
